BILLY'S POINT OF VIEW

"So what are we doing about Nat? She's been gone for over a month and none of us have heard from her."

I heard Steve but I was deep in thought. I've been calling hospitals, jails, motels, hotels and morgues since she left. I needed to find her. The day she left literally broke my heart. I can't focus. I can't concentrate. I can't eat. I can't sleep.

Beer though is definitely my go to drink. It helps me to think. Think of my next move.

"Billy? Did you hear me?"

I looked over at Steve who was looking at me with his eyebrows raised. He had barely left my house since I called him about Nat leaving.

"I'm going after her. I just have to find her first."

Steve nodded his head looking at me with his lips tightly pierced.

"Okay you act like that's an easy thing to do hargrove. She's running from someone. Which means she isn't going to stay in one place for very long."

I looked at Steve thinking about what he had said. I mean he had a point. She would stay on the move. "Then we should ask hopper for help."

Everyone looked at me and max stood up. "That's actually a good idea Billy. If anyone can find someone it's him."

I couldn't help but give a small smile to max. "Then let's go bring my girl home."

Steve, me, max, dustin and Eddie all headed to hoppers house. He was off work today. Thankfully max was friends with his daughter so she knew where he lived. A short drive later max knocked on the door.

"We need your help." I said without sugar coating it. Everyone looked at me then back to hopper. He moved to the side letting us all in the house.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he shut the door behind him.

Steve was the one to break the silence this time. "My cousin. She's missing. We need your help."

Hopper looked at Steve as he ran his hands over his face sighing. He didn't say anything though. He was waiting for us to tell him about it.

"She's in danger. We need your help hop. I wouldn't ask if I didn't have to, but I need help. I've been looking for over a month and I can't find any sign of her. Please help me."

I was desperate. I knew it, max knew it, now everyone else did. Hopper nodded his head at me.

"What happened?" He asked as he looked at us all waiting for one of us to explain her being missing.

"Her ex boyfriend. He uhm murdered her family one day. Now she's running from him. He's a fucking psychopath. He will kill her."

Hopper looked at us with pure shock on his face. Almost dumb founded.

"She thinks her running will keep us all safe, but she isn't thinking about the danger for herself. All she cares about is running so he will chase her and not hurt us." Max said faintly. I don't even think she took a single breath while she said all of that.

"Jesus Christ." Hop said through a heavy sigh.

We all looked at hopper as he lit a cigarette as if he was soaking this information up.

"He's dangerous hop. She doesn't stand a chance against him." Steve said with tears in his eyes as if remembering thier past with him. Hopper stood up walking to the door. I was sure he was going to kick us out.

"Let's go." He said as he walked towards his truck. "Meet me at the station."

He didn't wait for any of us to say anything. He just got in his truck and drove away.
