I was gone all day. I didn't go home at all. I just drove around and ended up going to an empty field to read and scream at the top of my lungs. That's what I did literally all day long. I didn't go home for hours. I didn't even get home until 9. When I did finally get home I walked right passed Billy and into the bedroom shutting the door behind me.

I even almost contemplated going back to my actual house, but literally all of my clothes were at Billy's. I'm not sure how long Billy and I laid in bed with my back turned to him. However it felt like a long time.

"I'm sorry." Billy's words were soft. So soft they were almost unheard in the completely quiet room.

"I know." I muttered with a tear escaping my eyes.
"Will you please look at me baby?" Billy said.

I heard Billy and I didn't want to, however I sighed and I rolled over facing him.

"I didn't mean to make you so mad baby."

I looked at billy sighing shaking my head. "I'm not mad. Just upset I guess." I mumbled in a soft voice.

Billy looked at me with a sad expression. "I didn't want to upset you baby. I just wanted to understand more. You haven't ever told me what really happened."

I know. There's a reason for that.

"I know. I just didn't want you to know how bad it really was. I definitely didn't want you to see it." I knew my face was showing sadness but I couldn't stop it.

"You're safe with me. I need you to know that."
"I do. I do know that but I always have this feeling. Like something bad is always going to happen. It doesn't matter what I do or how hard I try. There is always that feeling that doesn't ever go away."

Billy looked at me coming closer to me. "I'm not going to let him or anyone hurt you. I promise."

I looked at Billy nodding my head. "And what about you?"

Billy grabbed me pulling me closer to him. "I got you, you got me. That's all that matters. No matter what happens we count on each other."

I looked at Billy as his hand went to cupping my face slowly caressing my cheek.

"You promise." I said lowly. Billy looked at me smiling. "I promise." He leaned in lightly and gently kissing me before I sunk into his chest.

"Get some sleep you go back to school tomorrow."

The moment I heard his words I groaned. "Don't remind me."

Billy started laughing as he held me. I couldn't help but smile as I closed my eyes.

When my alarm went off the next morning I couldn't help but groan. Billy was still sound asleep. He didn't even hear the alarm clock. I couldn't help but smile at his relaxed face and body.

I grabbed an outfit going for the shower. Once I was finished getting ready I went back to the room to finish up.

"Deodorant, spray, oh yeah bags."

After I grabbed my stuff I walked over kissing Billy lightly. He didn't wake up but he did slightly stir. I couldn't help but smile at him as I walked out of the bedroom.

"Morning max."

Max looked at me smiling. "You look great."

I looked down at the outfit and scrunched my face as I grabbed a bowl for cereal. After max and I ate breakfast I grabbed my car keys and we headed to school.

"Here goes nothing."

Max looked at me and smiled. "Let's do this."

I chuckled and max and I headed towards the school. Honestly it was weird as fuck being at school without Steve and Billy. It wasn't like I was a new student so I knew plenty of people and had friends. However I was used to having Billy and Steve both around, and when I didn't have both around I at least had one of them around me.

"Hey Nat!"

I looked over at eddie sitting at the lunch table with the entire group. Max and I grabbed our trays and walked over sitting down.

"Hey guys." I said as I took my seat.
"You look pretty today." Eddie said with a small smile.

I looked at him mumbling a thank you. School wasn't too bad. It definitely could have been worse. One good thing about going missing over the summer is that know one knew except the people I was closest to.

Which was a good thing because the rumors, whispers and the secret talking around every corner wasn't happening. Which was great. By the end of school I was happy. I dropped max off at home and I headed to the book store.

Billy picked up a job which meant he wouldn't be home until later. So I had a few hours to kill. So I found something to do.

That's how the next four months of life went. I was at school while Billy worked. Majority of the time I hung out with Steve or Eddie and Gareth. They were pretty cool. Not too bad. Definitely weird but I came to like the weirdness.

"You should come check out our band tonight. We're playing."

I looked at Eddie as I sat down on the lawn chair in front of his house. "Corroded coffin right?"

Gareth smiled at me. "Look at you remembering the name of our band."

I looked at Gareth laughing as I threw a cheese puff at him. Which made him and Eddie both laugh hysterically.

"What's so funny?"

I looked at Billy who was leaning against the column of Eddie's stairs.

"Hi babe. How was work?" I said as I jumped up running over to kiss him. Billy wrapped his arms around me kissing me as he caressed my cheek.

Billy grabbed my hand and pulled me down onto his lap as he sat down where I was previously sitting.

"You happy it's the weekend?"

I looked at Billy smiling. "Happy as hell."

Billy, Gareth, Eddie and I all hung out the rest of the day. That's kind of how it was every day the last few months. Eddie, Gareth, me and Billy was the closest out of the group. We all got really close lately.

As Eddie would say we were the new four musketeers. Which made me always laugh and call him stupid because it was three musketeers not four.

"Night guys." I said as Billy and I walked away holding onto each other laughing and smiling.

"Night." Gareth and Eddie said as they headed inside.

Finally Natalie. Everything is perfect.
