Billy and me didn't even finish the nursery and setting everything up until a few days before I went into labor. When I did go into labor it was two in the morning and I was two weeks past due.

I was sooo ready for her to get the hell out of me. I was completely miserable at that point. Billy jumped up throwing clothes and his shoes on. He grabbed the bag we made and he woke everyone up in the house.

Everyone was freaking out. They were all running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Everyone followed Billy and me in thier own cars. By the time I was changed into the hospital gown I was crying from the contractions.

"Baby what can I do?"

I couldn't even answer him because the pain wouldn't let me. It was horrible. I felt like I was dying.

"Tonight is the night huh natalie."

I looked at doctor steel as he walked in with a few nurses. After a fast check he looked up at me.

"Your all most ready honey. A centimeter left before you can start pushing."

After he said that i was fully dialed within ten minutes. I was crying from the pain and Billy had tears in his eyes just at seeing me in so much pain. Doctor steel put my legs in the stirrups and he sat in his stool.

"Natalie honey I need you to push hard until I tell you to stop."

I nodded my head but I couldn't say anything.

"push natalie."

As soon as I started pushing I screamed. After my fifth horribly long fucking push I laid back on the bed.

"I can't. I can't do it." I said between my cries.
"Yes you can natalie. Just take a deep breath and push again."

I shook my head at doctor steels words.

"I can't. I can't. I can't do it. I'm sorry. I can't."

Before doctor steel could say anything Billy grabbed my face lightly looking at me.

"Baby listen to me. You can. You can do this. You overcame being tortured and hunted down by your ex. You overcame everything you've ever faced. You got this princess. So on three I need you push harder then you have pushed. Can you do that for me? I'm right here baby. I got you. So push."

I looked at Billy as the room remained silent. No one knowing what to say. I looked at Billy and nodded my head. "Okay."

"1...2...3... PUSH BABY!"

I pushed as hard as I possibly could as I squeezed onto Billy's hand.

"THATS IT BABY! KEEP PUSHING!"

I was crying and screaming as I squeezed Billy hand. At the end of my huge push the baby came out screaming. As soon as she was out I laid my head down panting. After the umbilical cord was cut they cleaned her up and laid her on my chest.

"God baby she's beautiful. You did good princess."

I looked down at mine and Billy's daughter.

"No we did good." I lightly mumbled as I looked up at Billy smiling.  BIlly leaned down kissing me and gently kissing her head. After I fed her and they cleaned me up and stitched me up I looked at Billy.

"We never decided on a name."

Billy smiled at me. "What about Amari"

I looked at Billy and smiled "Amari Maxine Hargrove."

Billy smiled wide "it's perfect. She's perfect."

When Max found out the name she cried hysterically hugging Billy and me both. When I finally got to go home I was happy. I wasn't in that much pain by then. I had a pretty fast recovery honestly.

YEARS LATER......

I didn't wanna leave Amari so I ended up doing college online. After about a week of Billy going to regular classes he went to online school as well. He ended up graduating and He got a job at a restaurant. Which honestly he actually really loved. Nancy and Steve only lived with us for a year before they moved out.

They was only a ten minute drive from the house so we seen them constantly, but honestly they just wanted their own space. Nancy went on to becoming a journalist and Steve started his own hair line. They got married last fall and they are expecting a son in six months.

Eddie and Amy didn't last very long. She ended up staying in California but moving out. It never really seemed like it bothered eddie much. He ended up marrying his next girlfriend. She was great. We all really loved her and she was good for him.

Eddie and Heather ended up moving next door. He stayed in school graduating and working at a music store. Max did really good here. She had almost all straight a's and started dating a guy named Toby. Who Billy and me both actually really liked. He was a good kid and so was she. Her mom never showed back up and didn't contest our adoption to her. Gareth never moved to California like he said, but Mike and el plan to when they graduate. We all call the group once a week to catch up.

Nothing bad ever happened again after we left Hawkins. It like that place is cursed and not us. I guess the rumors always were right. Hawkins is cursed. We were just the passengers for the curse for a short while.

As for me and Billy we are great. We got married two years ago before we graduated. We had an intimate backyard wedding and everyone from Hawkins came For it. Amari is freaking adorable. She has my dimples and Billy's long curly brown hair. She has Billy wrapped around her cute little finger too. Okay okay she has all of us wrapped around her finger.

So that's my story. Complicated, messy, painful and tragic, but like I always say what's a happy ending without a rough beginning. That's easy a life not worth living in my eyes. The pain, trauma, and hardships is what got us all here and if I'm being honest in the end it was all worth it to me.

I'm so glad I decided to go on that secret date with Billy hargrove. Best last minute decision I ever made.
