Billy was acting weird but I tried not to think much of it. So I took a shower and changed into a tank top and shorts for bed. I tossed and turned for a while with no luck so I got up and started walking.

"What are you doing here?" Eddie asked me as he opened his door looking at me.

I looked at Eddie sighing "I wanted to talk to you."

Eddie looked at me and moved to the side as he held his door open for me letting me in.

"What's up?" He asked before even getting his front door shut all the way.

I looked at Eddie and sat down taking a deep breath "I'm sorry. You and your friendship means a lot to me eddie. I didn't mean to jeopardize it or make it feel like I was cutting you off. Which by the way I never said."

Eddie looked at me sitting down beside me "don't apologize Nat. I was the asshole not you. I didn't even let you talk. I overstepped a boundary and I'm sorry I put you in that position."

I looked at Eddie smiling "sooo does that mean we're friends again, or still friends?" I asked him being hopeful.

Eddie looked at me crossing his arms over his chest grinning a wide smart ass smile "what would your boyfriend say Natalie?"

I looked at Eddie pushing him lightly as I chuckled "I don't know. I haven't told him I wasn't cutting you off. Besides I doubt he would actually care these days. Besides your honestly the reason I even got clean. You saved my life."

Eddie looked at me and smiled blinking away the tears in his eyes "we both saved each other Nat. Yes we're still friends by the way. I was just upset and had to cool off. We're good though I promise."

I looked at Eddie leaning back on his couch smiling at him "you know when I first met you I thought you were so fucking weird. Now your one of the most important people in my life."
"I just thought you were hot." Eddie laughed.

My mouth instantly gaped open "EDDIE!!"

Eddie started laughing at my reaction. "Well I did. I'm not gonna apologize for that. What did you mean by Billy doesn't care about much?"

I looked at Eddie shaking my head "it's nothing."
"Nat?" Eddie said with a serious face.

I looked at Eddie biting my lower lip slightly.

"I don't know really. I mean he's different Eddie. It's like he's himself one minute then a completely different person the next. I mean the old Billy would never hurt me, but this Billy choked me until I couldn't breathe. The sex is even different. Before he was easy and gentle because of... well now he's not. Now he's rough and he's just different."

Eddie looked at me and softened his face "because of what Nat? What happened to you."

I looked at Eddie and wiped my tear away as soon as it fell "nothing. Nothing happened. I don't know why I said that. Forget it."

Eddie looked at me and sighed "kai. When you went missing. He did something didn't he? El said you were blocking something in your memories. It was that wasn't it? Kai raped you didn't he Nat?"

I looked at Eddie and had another tear run down my face. "It doesn't matter. It was a while ago."

Eddie looked at me and shook his head hugging me "I'm sorry you've been carrying this around. Have you told anyone?"

I clung onto Eddie as he hugged me. Trying to stop my tears "Billy. That's why I was so surprised with the sex. I mean we've only had sex once since he came home and it was so hard and rough I cried and he couldn't touch me afterwards. So we haven't tried since."
