I was far back when the mister Nancy explained walked out of the shadows.

"No one can save you."

Max flung around looking at vecna. She was scared. You could see it on her face and her body language. Max and the creature was about twenty feet apart as they bath just looked at each other. Max's body completely stiffened up. She was scared.

She took off running the other way. The monster vecna swiped his hand which sent a vine forward wrapping around Max's ankle. As soon as the vine wrapped around her ankle max fell straight down face first.

Max tried grabbing onto something. Onto anything but she couldn't find anything to hold. The vine pulled max backwards and she started screaming as she was being pulled. The vecna monster was looking at max as the vine pulled her back as more vines wrapped around her pulling her up onto a tree and pinning her.

One vine wrapped around Max's throat making her gasp for air as she was completely held into place. Unable to move at all. Vecna walked forward until he finally stopped right in front of max. Inches from her face.

"You belong here max. I can take your pain away."

Max still unable to move looked at vecna. "go to hell. You're the reason my brother is dead." Max managed to gasp out as she could barely breathe.

"The pain you feel with him gone, that guilt. I can take it all away." Vecna said with a low growl as he examined Max's face with a slight head tilt. The vines were getting tighter and Max's discomfort, fear and pain were all reading clearly on her face.

The second I seen vecna's hand slowly start to rise to max is when I knew it was my que. I jumped up from my hiding place and I ran towards max. I ran jumping over a boulder with anger radiating off of my face and my body.

Max's reflexes turned on and she looked over at me which by nature made vecna look at me. He wanted to see what pulled Max's attention away. I jumped down off of the boulder landing into a small puddle that slightly splashed up around my ankles.

"don't fucking touch her!" I said between my clenched teeth as I looked at vecna's seriously irritated face.

"COME ON YOU BASTARD!" I screamed bloody murder at him. His head was slightly tilted telling me I was irritating him. However that was a good thing. The more preoccupied he was with me meant max was more safer then if he was busy with her. Max closed her eyes somehow getting the courage and slipped one of her hands from the vines. The instance she did she reached up grabbing a piece of vecna and pulling ripping.

As soon as she did vecna stumbled and the vines let go of max dropping her to the ground. I couldn't help but smile hugely at max.

"Max run."

Max looked at vecna then back to my smiling face and jumped up running as fast as she could. When max made of about a yard away vecna stood straight up watching her run. The anger that showed on his face told me he wasn't happy at all. I looked at him examining what his move was going to be. When he tightened his hand a huge boulder came crashing down from the sky almost hitting max.

She managed to weave the rock but fall to the ground. She didn't give up though, she got right back up running. Another boulder came crashing down and max managed to stay on her feet. I knew I had to do something. So I did, I pulled the gun Nancy had given me.

I pulled it out taking a few deep steady breaths.

"Billy if your by chance are watching over is, let us survive this." I mumbled under my breath and shot. I've never shot a gun a day in my life so when the bullet hit vecna I was shocked yet happy. He however instantly stumbled backwards pissed off.

His stumble is what I needed though. The stumble gave max the time she needed to completely evade vecna. Leaving me and him together. When he straightened himself and looked at me I knew this was going to be a painful fight.

Before I could lift the gun again to shoot him again a big ass rock flew through the air hitting me. Sending me flying and onto the ground grabbing my side in pain.

"You are suffering natalie. Aren't you."

I looked at vecna groaning as I stood up. "Fuck you, you ugly fucking bastard." I yelled through my clenched teeth. Vecna had no facial expression.

"Your mind is harder to invade. Your biggest fears have already came true."

I looked at vecna shaking my head and throwing a throwing knife at him. "Shit up!"

Vecna groaned pulling it from his chest as he slowly walked towards me. "Kai coming back and finding you. You loosing Billy. Your two biggest fears. Now I'm going to finish your fears off by killing everyone you care about then killing you."

I looked at vecna with tears in my eyes as he stopped right in front of me. He didn't move or say anything though. It's like he froze. Like he couldn't do anything.

Meanwhile while I was facing vecna Steve, Robin, Nancy, Eddie and Billy had found vecna's body. He was in the air being held up by vines and his eyes were completely shut.

"This is the thing trying to kill max and Nat?" Billy asked in a small low voice.

"Yeah." Steve mumbled as he lit the fabric of the Molotov cocktail and throwing it as hard as he could. They stood still and silently as they watched the bottle fly foward turning into the air heading straight for vecna's body.

As soon as the cocktail hit his chest vecna jolted back and his body lit up on fire. All four of them covered thier faces slightly as the light from the fire intensified. The fire on vecna's body stayed ignited as the fire burned the vines from vecna. The vines burning dropped vecna slowly onto the ground.

As soon as that happened everything around me started to go up into a light foggy smoke. Disintegrating everything including vecna inches from my face. I looked around watching it happen and the excitement rose up within me.

"Holy shit they are doing it. The plans working. ITS ACTUALLY WORKING!" I screamed as I jumped up and down in pure happiness.

Vecna's body was still on fire as he slowly stood up looking at the group. Robin lit her fabric throwing the cocktail straight for vecna as he was making his way for the group. As soon as her cocktail connected with vecna he jumped forward with a god awful pained noise. That's when Nancy pulled her gun and went walked a few steps foward. Pointing her gun straight at him with anger clearly visible on her face.

It only took one shot at close range to send vecna flying backwards. He let out a small noise before flying out the boarded up window. His body hit the roof of the house flipping him until finally he came to a hard hit on the ground completely dead.
