I don't know how I managed to slip my hand out of my cuff but I did. I made sure to hold it minimizing the noise. Hoping it wouldn't wake kai up. I slowly and carefully slipped out of the bed. When I hit the floor I grabbed onto the sheet on the bed.

Trying to steady myself from hurting my ankle even more. I looked over at kai who was still sound asleep. I took a few steps backwards not taking my eyes off of him and heading for the door. I opened the door so slowly hoping the small creak of the door wouldn't wake him up.

After the small creak passed I looked back at kai who thankfully was still asleep. I slipped out of the opened slit of the door and I took off in a limping run through the hospital.

Fuck this place is huge. Where am I?

I turned a few corners and seen the stairs sign. I couldn't use the elevator. Kai would definitely hear that. I ran my limping bruised ass towards the stairs. As soon as I opened the door kai was standing on the other side of the door. He was mad. You could see it clearly on his face.

"Where are you going angel?"

I looked at kai and gasped. "NO!"

I didn't wait for his reaction. I turned around in a limping run the opposite way of kai. I wasn't any challenge for him though with his magic, plus I was already hurt and slow. As soon as I turned the corner kai was there. I couldn't even react before he had a hold of my head and slamming my head into the hospital wall.

Darkness sorrounded me. I had been knocked unconscious. I'm not sure how long I was out of it but when my eyes finally fluttered open I winced at the pounding in my head. Kai was sitting across from me smiling as I could feel the blood slowly drip down the side of my face.

I could feel the rope around my wrists behind my back as I slightly pulled trying to move.

"That wasn't very smart angel."

I looked at kai groaning as he leaned forward wiping the blood from my head.

"That's gonna leave a scar Natalie. Let's close that up."

I looked at kai still groaning as he moved slightly forward. I looked at him confused as he gently wiped the blood from me. Holding gauze lightly and gently against my head as he prepared the supplies with his other hand.

"I don't actually like hurting you Nat. You just make me so mad. I'm sorry."

I looked at kai surprised but I choose not to say anything. Kai spent the next ten minutes give or take cleaning the head wound and applying ointment, butterfly bandages and a bigger bandage to keep everything in place.

"Perfect." Kai muttered as he admired his handy work. Kai sighed standing up and grabbing rope. I didn't say anything. I was just confused as to what he was doing. He hoisted it through the pipes on the cieling and walked back over to me. He untied the rope from around my wrists and grabbed me pulling me up to my feet.

Dragging me over to the rope from the cieling.

"No please I'm sorry."
"Too late." He mumbled as he tied my wrists to the hanging rope. I was standing in place with my wrists above my head. Kai looked me over smiling as he stared at me.

"Goodnight angel."

I looked at kai with wide eyes as he started walking out of the room.

"No kai you can't leave me here like this."

Kai didn't stop or look back at me. He just kept walking.

"KAI!!!"

Still nothing. He just walked out shutting the light off and closing the door.

"KAIIII!!! YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!"

I'm not sure how long I yelled or screamed but by the time I stopped my throat hurt from it.

It's fine natalie. As long as your with kai, everyone else is safe.

I had to repeat that to myself like a mantra until I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer. When the light came back on it felt like I had only slept for two hours. I was so tired and my ankle and my arms hurt so fucking bad.

"Morning angel."

I looked at kai blinking as the light stung my eyes. Which made kai smile.

"I'm making you breakfast."

I didn't say anything to kai. I just groaned and fell foward into kai when he took the ropes from my wrists.

"Uhhh."

Kai looked down at me smiling. "Hurts doesn't it?"

I didn't say anything to him though. I just groaned nodding my head as he held onto me walking me into another room. There was a table in center of the room with two chairs on each side of the table. Kai walked me over sitting me down and handcuffing me to the chair.

"So tell me about this boyfriend of yours."

I looked at kai rolling my eyes not saying a word.

"Natalie. If you want me to play nice then you have to as well."

I hate you.

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "What do you want to know kai."

Kai couldn't help the smile on his face. His I always win smile. I fucking despised that look. "Everything."

Stick to lies Natalie. He won't be able to know your lying. He can't know the truth.

"His name is Billy. We met at school and he asked me out. I figured why not? So I said yes."

Kai nodded his head. "Where did he take you on the date?"
"A diner I liked."

Kai gave me a small smile. "You love him don't you?"

I didn't look at kai. I didn't have to, to answer his question. "Yeah I do."

A few minutes later kai walked over setting a plate and a pop in front of me and taking his seat with his food and drink.

"Why did you do it?" I asked kai in a low voice. Kai looked up at me swallowing his bite of food sighing. He knew exactly what I was asking about.

"It was the only way we could be together. Everyone was keeping us apart. It had to be done Natalie. I had no choice."

I looked at kai and snorted. "That's a cop out. You always have a fucking choice. You murdered my mom kai. You almost killed me and my cousin." I had tears in my eyes as I said that. Kai looked at me and nodded.

"I know. It wasn't supposed to happen like that."
"Oh you were just going to kill everyone and hope I would be with you?"

Kai sighed looking at me. He didn't say anything though. He just took another bite of his food. After a few long minutes he finally said something.

"You know I was weak when we were together. I wasn't as powerful as I am now. I can do all kinds of things now. Like right now Nat. You would be so shocked at what I'm doing right now."

I looked at kai confused. However my face covered in confusion shortly changed to fear as the dead body became visible to me on the table. I couldn't stop the gasp from escaping my mouth as I cried out looking away.

Kai had a huge smile on his face as he stared at me continuing to eat. As if it didn't faze him.

"You had know idea. You should see your face." He said with amusement behind his voice.

I looked at kai trying to stop the tears from coming as I could feel them fighting to release.

Do not give him the satisfaction. You better fucking not Nat. I swear to god.
