Chapter 11.

April

August had been gone for a whole hour straight before texting me to come outside. I tied my hair up and put on my shoes before leaving out of the house.

"What do you want b-"I stopped talking, seeing him sitting on a four wheeler.

"Surprise!"He threw out his arms.

"What did you do silly?"I giggled, putting my hand over my mouth.

"I gotchu a bike man,"He threw a helmet my way."C'mon!"

"Wait, no, I'm scared!"

"April."He cut his eyes at me.

"August."

"Phat."

"Auggie."

"What I tol' you bout callin' me dat?"He got off the bike.

"Well I let you call me Phat."

"Yeah but yeen gotta call me dat. Gimmie anotha' one."

"No,"I frowned,"I like that one."

"Well I don't."

"Well I....what you doing?"I started backing away from him.

"Nun."He smirked still coming towards me.

"Auuugust."I warned trying to back into the house.

"Apriil,"He mocked me.

"Aug-AH!"I screamed as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder."Put me down! Put me down! Put me down!"

"Stop kickin' bruh."He chuckled holding me still.

He sat me on the four wheeler and hopped on fast.

"Hol' onto me."He made it jerk forward a little. I yelped and did as told after putting on a helmet.

"How come you don't have on a helmet?"

"Cause ion need one."

After telling me where to place my feet and to not let go, he pulled off from in front of my apartment. From my place to the stop sign down the street I screamed for him to slow down.

"I ain't even goin' dat fast!"

"Yes you are, oh my god!"I whined.

"Cry baby ass!"He laughed before pulling off all fast again.

I squeezed my eyes shut and held onto him, clinging to him for dear life basically.

I dug my claws into him all the way to his place.

"April c'mon na, it's ova'."

"What?"I opened my eyes."That quick?"

"Dat quick? Man, you screamed da' whole time. And I'm pretty sho' you left marks on ma' stomach from you grippin' me so hard."

"I-"

"Trynna hol' on befo' ya 'die'."

"Yes, before I die, because somebody likes to drive like a psychopath."

"Psychopath?"He turned the bike off."Nah, man you jus' scary. Can't buhlee I spent all'at money on dat bike and you scared."

"I am not scared. I just...need some time to adjust."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah."He waved me off.

We both climbed off of the bike and he rolled it to the side of his house where another one sat.
