it was hard being best friends with Isabela madrigal but that was before the house fell. know you and Isa are free to be best friends out in public. everyone was shocked you two was friends. you was the son of the baker and just a quiet kid. though with Isabela you are loud and goofy.
today you are dropping off some cake samples for Dolores and Mariano to try. they planned on having their wedding soon. Casita let's you in and you go to the kitchen. currently it's just Isabela and her mom.
"uh hey" you say smiling awkwardly
they turn and smile at you. you put the box with cake samples down.
"(nickname) " Isabela smiles and hugs you
you hug back and Isabela can't help but bury her face in your chest. you put your chin on top of her head and don't notice Julieta smiling at you two.
"someone missed me huh?" you ask
"duh i haven't seen you in a whole week. it's been torture." Isabela said
you two stop hugging but Isabela stays leaning on you.
"well you been helping with wedding stuff. " you said smiling at her
"well you been working extra shifts at the bakery" she sticks her tongue out at you
"hey i told you about doing that. I'll bite your tongue" you warn
"you wouldn't dare" Isabela said
"try me" you said
Isabela thinks about it then sticks her tongue out at you. you go to grab her but she runs.
"hey!" you shout
you run after her. you chase her to her room and walk past her statuses. soon you see her trying to hide behind one and you grab her. she jumps surprised and accidentally pulls you to the ground with a vine. you pull her down with you.
"hey you could have fell alone" Isabela said while on top of you.
"and you could've not taken me down" you said and stick your tongue out
Isabela leans down and bites your tongue
"oww what was that for?" you said
"you threaten to do it to me so i decided to do it first. " she said
you push her hair out her face and behind her ear. you stare in her eyes and smile.
"hey you know I love you right?" Isabela said
"of course. we been best friends for 4 years. " you said
"(y/n).. i mean i'm in love with you" she said
"wait really?" you said
"yeah.. it's okay if you don't.." Isabela starts to say
you cut her off by kissing her. she's shock but kisses back. you pull her close and she deeps the kiss. you stick your tongue in her mouth. you two don't hear Mirabel come in to look for her sister since Dolores asked her to.
"hey Isa.. Ahhh!" Mirabel said when she sees you two
Isabela accidentally bites your tongue scared and quickly gets off you. you hold your tongue and groan in pain.
"i'm so sorry." Isabela tells you
"where's my sorry? i'm traumatized!" Mirabel whines
"i better go check on Dolores and Mariano.. see you Novia " you said and kiss Isabelas cheek before hurrying off
"i'm his Novia" Isabela said dreamily
"since when?" Mirabel ask
"wait he didn't ask me. (y/n)!" Isabela shouts then chases after you.
