"What the fuck was that?"
"Free stroke."
"You mean freestyle and, baby, that looked more like you were having a seizure than anything else."
Dahlia glares at Austin then turns around and grabs hold of the jetty on the back of the yacht. "You, Austin Post, can go and fuck yourself," she says then reaches for the ladder. Austin grabs her and pushes her up against the ladder while spinning her around in the water to face him. "Or how about I just fuck you," he says. Dahlia lets out a laugh then wraps one arm around his neck and pulls him into her, kissing him.
"Austin! Dahlia!" Gina shouts out for them from the yacht. Conveniently they can't be seen as they wade in the water near the ladder but still Dahlia does not want to take any chances. She pushes Austin away and laughs a little as he sinks slowly below the surface in mock death. Idiot. "Don't shout, Gina. Here we are," Dahlia says climbing up the ladder. "Oh!" Gina says and giggles. "Well, Charles and the others want to go diving. Austin please come with me, I hate going and I know you are a good diver from those holidays we took as kids," Gina says.
"But I am helping Dahlia with her swimming."
"No. Go. It's been a busy morning I am going for a nap."
"Yay! Come on then Austin," Gina says grabbing Austin's wrist and pulling him towards the area everyone is getting ready to dive. Dahlia slips away before anyone asks her why she is not joining them. She gets back to her cabin and feels a shiver down her spine when she sees Austin's bag in the cabin. There had been a lot more people than even Gina had expected so Austin and Dahlia had been asked to share a cabin while Gina joined Charles in his cabin. There must be about twenty people on this very, very expensive yacht. Dahlia had been introduced to them all but in all honesty, she had not bothered to remember their names or who they were. She had no intention of seeing them again anyway.
There were only four people she had taken notice of really. One was Charles. He was besotted with Gina but that was nothing new when it came to Gina. It's the normal reaction. Then there were Charles' twin cousins, Paris and Orlando, they had made it very clear that they were happy Dahlia was on this boat with them. On that thought, Dahlia locks the cabin door. She would not put it past them coming into her cabin unannounced.
Then there is Lou-Ann. She is Charles' aunt and she has eyes for Austin. They have only been on this yacht for one morning and half of that has been spent in the water with Austin trying to teach Dahlia how to swim but Lou-Ann has still managed to sit on Austin's lap twice and run her hand through his chest hair. Dahlia bets she is attempting to free the 'sea snake' in Austin's pants whilst they are diving. Dahlia laughs at the comical image in her head of Austin trying to ward the older woman off him underwater.
She showers then dresses in a warm tracksuit and climbs under the duvet. This might not be what fancy people do on yachts but Dahlia does know what the fuck she is even doing on this yacht in the first place so she is excused to do her own dam thing and that just happens to be taking a nap.
She wakes up to a large hand sliding over her hips and up her front. She knows it's Austin without even opening her eyes. She has been with him enough times to know exactly how he feels. She wriggles around in his arms until she is facing him then lets out a laugh and scratches her nose. "You smell like seaweed and your nose is burnt...like bright red," she says. Austin closes his eyes, wrapping his arms around her tighter and drawing her closer to his body. "That's because I have been fucking diving for the last three hours...thank you for that. Charles is a prick by the way. You will hate him when you get to know him."
"I hate him now."
"You hate everyone."
"I don't hate you." It's out of Dahlia's mouth before she can stop it. Austin's eyes flick open and he looks at her in shock with his mouth dropped open slightly. "You heard that wrong. I said I hate you the most," is Dahlia's pathetic attempt to cover her tracks. Austin grins and cups Dahlia's jaw. "I have heat stroke. I didn't hear a fucking word you said, baby," he says then kisses her. Slipping his hand under her tracksuit top, squeezing her breast. He tastes like sea and suntan lotion, somehow it makes Delilah even more desperate for him. It's a guess - but she thinks she will take Austin anyway he comes. She moans slightly into his mouth. He is so fucking delicious.
"Oh yes! Just like that. Show him how much you want him."
Austin and Dahlia break apart and look toward the open cabin door. The twins are leering into the cabin. "What the fuck Austin? Didn't you think to close the fucking door," Dahlia hisses. "I fucking did," Austin hisses back, "but now I know why you had locked." The twins stepped into the room and pout. "Don't stop. That kiss was going somewhere and we love to watch," Orlando says. "Ooh, yes. Please carry on we will be quiet from now on," Paris says. "You got the wrong idea. We were just talking," Dahlia says. The twins look at each other and then burst into giggles. "If that's what you call talking then I would like to have an in-depth conversation with you, Dahlia," Orlando says.
"And there it is. Ok, that's enough," Austin says rolling off the bed. He grabs each twin by the scruff of the neck and drags them out of the cabin while Dahlia flips them off and mouths, "you're dead," at them. She hears the thud of Austin slamming them up against the passage wall and then his muffled warnings to them. Creepy little fuckers. She gets out of bed and turns the shower on then brushes out her hair in the bathroom mirror. She hears the cabin door slam shut and the distinctive click of the lock.
"Door stays locked at all times now. Between those freaky little twins and that old lady - we are going have to fucking barricade ourselves in here," Austin says slipping off his swim shorts and climbing into the shower. "Are they going to tell Gina what they saw?" Dahlia asks leaning on the bathroom sink. Austin pokes his head out of the shower and gives her a pointed look then sighs and moves under the shower again. "No...but we do have to play spin the bottle with them tonight."
"Spin the fucking bottle? What are we, 16? No. I am not playing spin the bottle."
"You are going to play. That's the deal they made."
"Well fuck that. No."
Austin shuts off the water and opens the shower door. "Yes, you fucking are. Pass me a towel please," he says. Dahlia grabs a towel and stands in front of the shower. "I am not. You are getting awfully bossy for someone I am not in a relationship with," Dahlia says. "Your choice, Dahlia. We play, they shut up...we don't play, they spill," Austin says.
Dahlia wants to rip his throat out right now. She can't believe she is going to go through this just so Austin can keep his chances open with Gina. He is such an asshole. If she was not in love with him she would have punched him in his shiny red nose. "The shit I do for you!" she complains and then throws the towel at him and storms out. "What? The shit you do for me? Are you fucking crazy?" she hears him call after her.
"Better get dressed fast, Rudolph! I am unlocking the cabin door," Dahlia shouts as she unlocks and leaves the cabin. Austin is an asshole.
