Yeji and Chaeryeong are hanging out at Yeji's mall. Not only that, Yeji actually wants to talk about Ryu as well as looking for a solution.
"well, I moved already but my parents haven't decide where they will spend their retirement days." Yeji said as she looks around the clothing rack.
"you should really think about it. I don't want you to regret your decisions." Chaeryeong said from the other side of the rack.
"if he wants us to be together, he would've come to me long ago." Yeji responded.
"you don't even know what's inside his head. how do you know that he moved on? I know that he's busy and all. but don't you think about his feelings? I think he's not they type that can take back his words. that's why he tried to make himself busy." Chaeryeong looks at her. "I'm just saying."
Yeji sighs. The two of them then walks out of the outlet. Since Chaeyoung also came along, she walks towards him who's leaning on the glass fence.
"what are you looking at?" Yeji asked.
"there's a fashion show or something." Chaeyoung turns around.
Getting curious, Yeji decided to watch the show from her floor. As expected, she sees Ryu with a girl. he looks serious and it looks like he's scolding her but the girl seems unbothered. Yeji immediately looked away.
"ah..." Chaeryeong noticed what she saw. "let's just go."
Meanwhile, Ryu is actually being assertive towards Miyeon. He admits that her work was all good, better than the other models.
"I want you to act like that not only when you're working. Understand? You've improved." Ryu folds his arms.
"right, right. I know that." Miyeon flicks her hair. "now... aren't you gonna give me something?"
"I paid you." Ryu raised his eyebrow.
"while we're here, you can buy me something. You used to think bad about me. I want you to apologize."
"I treat you like the other models. You have no right to talk to me like that." Ryu then turns around, intending to leave her with her manager.
"please?" Miyeon grabs his coat. "you've been being hard on me for months. Now that I can prove it to you that I'm better, I want you to give that all back. my rights."
"no, Miyeon." Ryu turns around again. "go. You have other work to do."
With that, Ryu left. If he wants to be honest with himself, Miyeon kinda reminds him of Yuna. He didn't count how many days or months that he spent supervising the model. He realized that she's not that bad of a girl. She can be a little brat sometimes but she has that childlike manners in her. it often made him sad to think about.
"got ya!" Miyeon surprised him from behind. "c'mon buy me something."
"what are you doing?!" Ryu snatched his hand off of hers.
"the gave me a little break." Miyeon smiles sarcastically at him. "treat me something or I'll expose how you treat me differently and you didn't pay me-"
"okay. okay." Ryu walks first.
"yes!" Miyeon walked passed Ryu and go to an outlet she chose.
Ryu waits for her, sitting on the couch in front of the outlet.
"good day, sir?" a guy asked him.
"good day." he replied to the nice guy.
"Ryu!" Miyeon called out.
Ryu groans. He stands up and walk towards her that's standing in front of the changing room.
"can you not call me like that? it's dangerous." Ryu said sternly. "what?"
"as if you're the only one with that name." she scoffed. "I chose my stuff. But I don't know about this one. What do you think?"
"really? Go pick yourself." Ryu sighs. He looks around then to the side.
A girl walks out of the changing room. she too, looks at Ryu.
"Yeji..." Ryu whispered.
"hey you should try... oh." Chaeryeong showed up from one of the isles.
"I'm good, Chae. Let's go." Yeji walks away with a broken heart. She tried her best to contain all her emotions.
Ryu looks down, somehow ignoring Miyeon.
"hello? What's wrong with you? is she your ex or something?" Miyeon waved her hand in front of his face.
Ryu walks towards the cashier and quickly take care of the payment. He's rushing himself, hoping that he has some time to catch up on Yeji.
"hey! I'm not done yet!" Miyeon sulks.
"I've paid it. Go back."
-
Yeji finally let out her tears on the way home. She leans on Chaeryeong while the bestfriend rubs her back, calming her down.
"I will... go..." Yeji said between sobs. "I can't, Chae. I can't see him with another girl."
"I understand. Give it time. talk with your parents." Chae tried to give her a talk.
"I made up my mind. I will go with them. I won't say a word to him."
"alright. Alright."
Arriving at her apartment, Yeji runs to her room, ignoring Chaeryeong and Chaeyoung who's carrying the shopping bags.
"I'm just gonna go. Call me if you need anything." Chaeyoung excused himself.
"okay. thank you." Chaeryeong then walks towards Yeji's room. "Yeji..."
Chaeryeong walks in. seems like Yeji is texting someone.
"they've decided. I'll go to Bali next week." Yeji informed.
"really? That fast? You just moved a week ago. C'mon Yeji. Think about it more." Chaeryeong sits beside her.
"I'd rather leave than watch him with someone else." Yeji looks at her. "I'm serious."
"I'll miss you." Chaeryeong pulled her into a hug.
"wish me luck."
