THE PRINCE (Ryeji fanfiction)

CHAPTER 20

Ryu fell asleep while waiting for Yeji. Seeing that, Yeji held back from further conversation with him. unlike the usual, the breakfast they have today is not as chatty.

"let's talk about last night." Ryu spoke up.

"do you really want to talk about it or you just want it to get over with?" Yeji looks at him.

"I don't like this tension. I want to talk." Ryu lowers his head. "back then I have no time to think about stuff like that so I just move on. But, every time I see her I'm scared. I feel like she has something up her sleeve, but at the same time I feel like I'm overthinking it."

Yeji understands what he felt. Although he doesn't show it, he might have some trauma going on.

"like I said, I can forget about it. But, when I see her, that night replays." Ryu looks at her.

"it's okay. I get it." Yeji stands up and walk towards him. she hugs him from behind. "I still love you. we'll get through this. just like you stay with me after..."

"yeah... thank you, love."

Since they have no time to explore the hotel, they can only visit three hotels today. That with just brief observation. They're on their way to the hotel right now.

"you got it all noted, right?" Ryu asked Wonpil.

"yes, sir. I will make the full reports later."

"good. Thank you." Ryu then looks at Yeji. "how's it?"

"tiring." Yeji sighs. "but I'm not that satisfied either."

"it's all good. We still have time."

Going back to New York, their activities are back to normal. Yeji's apartment is empty most of the times since they're both are busy with their career.

Ryu came back to his agency after his schedules to take care of the invitation.

"I'll limit the guests to just about a hundred or a hundred fifty. It's gonna be outdoors so I think it won't be crowded." Ryu said to his mother on the phone. "I don't have that much people to invite so you can invite yours."

"fifty to sixty?"

"well, that's a reasonable amount. I'll invite my close friends and some of my close workmate." Ryu scrolls down the list on his computer. "send me the names, okay? bye."

Just when Ryu put down his phone, it's vibrating again. It's Yeji who's calling.

"what time will you come home? Jeong and Chae are on their way."

Ryu forgot about their hang out plan. He looked at his watch to show that it's almost nine pm.

"hell, I forgot. I'm listing the guests right now. they're about to make the card. I'll be going now." Ryu gathers his stuff. "see you, love."

"have a safe ride. Don't speed."

When Ryu arrived, Jeong and Chaeryeong are already there with Yeji at the living area.

"hey guys." Ryu smiles at them. "I'm gonna change. Wait." Ryu then greets Yeji with a kiss on her head. he walks away after that.

"well, I'm sure that your news will shook the internet." Jeong sips his drink. "you guys might be the richest couple. Based on my observation."

"that's an overstatement. Besides, he won't care about that. I mean, when did he ever care about news like that?" Yeji chuckles.

"will it be big?" Chaeryeong asked.

"it's outdoors so yeah. We planned it nicely. I won't spoil anything."

"sorry for the wait." Ryu soon joins them. "so, how are things going?"
