THE PRINCE (Ryeji fanfiction)

CHAPTER 18

Ryu and Yeji are waiting for Wonpil at the lobby. Today, they'll finally go to Paris for Ryu's event.

"there'll be a lot of reporters. ready?" Ryu asked her.

"of course. I should be the one who asked. You want us to go public for real this time?" Yeji looks at him.

"yes. Though I'm worried of what those people will say. It's not about me. it's about you."

"hm..." Yeji sighs. "that's the car. Let's go."

The two wear their sunglasses. Walking out, they're already greeted by cameras and people holding up their phone. Ryu holds Yeji by the hand, keeping her close. Once they get in the car, they take off their glasses.

"that's just the beginning."

Well, what Ryu said is true. Before they even get in the airport, there are more reporters and fans waiting for them, especially Ryu. Since he's used to the situation, he calmly waved to the reporters.

"what is your relationship with Mrs. Hwang?"

"do you guys have the same flight?"

"Mrs. Hwang, how close you are with Ryu?"

And many more questions came out of their mouth. Ryu knew this will happen. He'll just let them guess everything at the moment and refused to reply.

Thanks to the guards, their way to the plane goes somewhat smooth.

"that was... pretty frustrating. You must be used to it." Yeji takes off her glasses.

"I usually do more than waving." Ryu takes off his too. "I don't want to answer them. Not now."

"you said you want us to go public."

"yeah, not in that way. I have plans, love." Ryu threw her a sweet smile.

Yeji can't help but blushed at his sweet manner.

"you can sleep if you're still tired. We have hours of this flight."

Yeji wakes up by the sound of Ryu's voice. She looks up at him who's already smiling at her.

"you wanna check yourself?" Ryu asked as he tuck some strands of Yeji's hair. We'll arrive in about twenty minutes."

"sure." Yeji yawns, stretching herself.

When Yeji came back from the restroom, Ryu already wearing his mask. Seeing that, Yeji does too, thinking that they're about to land.

"reporters are already at the gate. Please, don't ever let go of my hand. The fans can be a little violent."

Yeji nods. Usually, she'll feel safe. Since this is the first time that they'll be exposed, she's scared.

Just like what Ryu said, Yeji can already see a lot of people waiting for them. Though, there are guards and securities guarding them. Ryu hold Yeji's hand tightly. He can see his female fans pushing each other to reach him. not only that, they tried to push Yeji away. Ryu pulls her even closer and quickly wrap his arm around Yeji's upper body.

Fortunately, the two managed to get to their car safely. It was a lot of pressure, though.

"did they hurt you? did you get hit or something?" Ryu rubs her hand.

"no. I'm good." Yeji let out a long sigh. "did you?"

"I'm used to it. Little bumps and nudges were okay." Ryu shows her a small smile.

"sir, the event will be held in the late evening. You have about four hours to rest or have a look around." Wonpil informed.

"we'll check some hotels tomorrow. We're going to spend more days here." Ryu added.

"but you only have three days. You'll have another schedule."

"it's okay, Ryu. We can check them online."

Ryu just got back from the make up room. he checks on Yeji who's in their room.

"why didn't you just ask them to do your makeup?" Ryu stands behind her who's sitting at the vanity.

"they're hired for you. I do my makeup every day. I feel like I need to be a little bold." Yeji replied then check herself one more time. "what do you think?" Yeji looks at him.

"you look wonderful." Ryu smiles. "the dress that I bought you..." Ryu looks down at her dress. "looks perfect."

Yeji proudly smiles. She then stands up slowly, facing Ryu.

"I really like this. I feel like I will rip it, though." Yeji checks herself. "or... you will." Yeji teased.

"that's... um... yeah. No." Ryu let out a nervous laugh.

"excuse me, your ride has arrived."
