Ryu is on his way to Yeji's mansion. This is his chance to take Yeji back and fix everything between them. Ryu noticed that their cars are outside and supposedly their driver cleaning them. He pulled up to the driveway, quickly gets out of the car.
"sir!" Chaeyoung approached him. "is there anything I can help?"
"oh, good morning." Ryu greeted back. "is Yeji home?"
"I'm sorry. Ms. Hwang as well as her parents are already at the airport. I just got back from dropping them off." Chaeyoung smiles a little.
"airport?" Ryu was shocked. "where are they going?"
"Singapore, sir."
Without hearing anything else, Ryu rushed to his car, throwing his flower bouquet to the backseat. He starts to drive faster than ever to the airport, no seatbelt, whatsoever.
Having to go through traffic drives him mad. He might break the horn since he hit it often times.
Arriving at the airport, he parked his car randomly near the entrance. He gets out of the car and go straight inside, running for his life towards Yeji's gate. He doesn't care if people are looking. The only thing on his head is seeing Yeji.
Meanwhile, Yeji is already at the plane, waiting for it to take off. She takes a picture of the view outside the window and take her time to post on her story. Just then, she received a call from Ryu. She froze.
Ryu is already at the gate. He can see people in line to get to the plane but no vision of Yeji. He's desperate to get Yeji to pick up his call. Instead, the call leads him to voicemail.
"no." Ryu's voice cracked. He's in the verge of crying.
"excuse me, sir. Is there anything I can help?" a security guard approached him.
"no. no. it's okay." Ryu looks down, giving a second attempt to call her. he can see the plane, though.
"if you have the ticket you should probably go." He said again. "looks like you're looking for someone."
Ryu looks out the window. Soon, the plane's door is shut. There's no hope for him to chase her.
Ryu realized that he just made the biggest mistakes that he's ever made.
