IT HAPPENED SO FAST AND NOW HERE YOU WERE, FIGHTING THE INTENSE BLOODLUST. all of your senses, feelings, and emotions were heightened to the brim and you hated it deeply. you were incredibly angry that this happened to you. the selfish part of you wished this happened to someone else and not you. then the other part of you wouldn't wish this on anyone else. but you hated this. you saw yourself as some monster now.
and you absolutely hated derek hale at this very moment. scratch that, you never really liked derek one bit. he was cocky, arrogant, and absolutely annoying at least in your eyes. before he was alpha and before you were bitten, he wasn't so bad and you actually didn't mind him. then when he became alpha, he enjoyed all the power and control that came with being one. despite his words to not being a power hungry alpha, you knew he got too ahead of himself but he didn't care one bit which sparked your hatred for him.
it really got to you when he started giving the bite to random teenagers. all because he wanted power. he didn't care about them, he only cared about what benefitted him and gave him what he wanted. he became frustrated with you when you started spending quite a bit of time with his frenemies, scott and stiles. he assumed they were painting a bad picture of him in your head which made you think the way you did about him.
truth is, your opinion on him was your own without anyone else influencing your thoughts. but you let derek think whatever he wanted to. you didn't care. especially when he turned three teenagers (erica, boyd, and isaac,) you couldn't keep giving him benefit of the doubt anymore.
you tried so hard to stay away from derek except he found every excuse possible to be around you. it got to the point he gave up on finding an excuse and just told you he was bored and wanted to be around you. everything about it confused you. why would he want to always be around you when you didn't necessarily like him?
everything changed when you were attacked by some creature which left you almost bleeding out in the woods near the burned hale house. you were beginning to lose consciousness when you saw derek save you, and the last thing you saw before falling into that world of darkness was his face full of fear and guilt.
now here you were, in the ruins of the hale house after you slowly regained consciousness. you could feel the burning gaze of someone's eyes and you looked over to see derek watching you carefully and closely.
everything was heightened; all of your senses, feelings, emotions... everything. you could hear every little thing, you could see everything so clearly it terrified you. and you could smell everything near by. except there was one specific scent that overpowered any other scent and it clouded all of your senses. it was so intoxicating, so sweet and alluring.
