LOUD CLUTTERING NOISES AND MUFFLED VOICES HAD WOKEN UP A GIRL WHO WAS PEACEFULLY SLEEPING IN HER APARTMENT. she mentally cursed to herself as the sudden commotion in the middle of the night, most likely waking the entire floor in the apartment complex. she tried tuning out all the ruckus, however the noise was too much for her to tune out.
if she didn't have to be awake for work in a few hours then she would've just ignored it. except she did in fact have work to attend in the morning. the idea of calling out of work sick entered her mind, though she wasn't willing to give up her perfect work attendance due to selfish people. so she angrily climbed out of bed, stomping out of her bedroom to her apartment door.
swinging the door open, she opened her mouth to snap at the person causing so much noise only to be met with dashing green eyes staring at her. any ounce of frustration completely melted away at the breath taking eyes staring at her, the undeniably handsome man finding her perfect despite the circumstance.
she forced herself out of the trance she was in and then noticed three uniformed guys bringing boxes into the apartment across from her. she assumed it was the new guy everyone had been gossiping lately about moving into the building. she just didn't think it was going to be any time soon, let alone in the middle of the night when everyone else was asleep.
"i–i apologize if we had woken you."
chills ran down her spine at the smooth, velvety tone to his voice. a voice that well suited him. he was tall and well built, the grey long sleeve henley shirt hugging his torso perfectly. again his eyes were a beautiful light sparkling green, almost resembling an innocent look to her. angel kissed dimples showcased in his cheeks when he flashed her a warm smile, nearly taking her entire breath away and her body reacting strongly to this simple action. his jet black hair was an enticing look that seem to contrast well with his fair skin tone. he was the perfect definition of god's desirable creation.
"oh, it's okay, really. i just didn't expect someone to be moving at this time in the night." her words came out soft, sleepiness still evident in her tone and her face.
he shot her an apologetic look, "i meant to move in way earlier but my flight was delayed so everything had to happen later."
"ah, i see." she nodded licking her lips. "what's your name?" she definitely wanted to know his name. because she had a feeling deep down she would be seeing him more often than expected.
"derek. derek hale."
something about his name fit him perfectly. it went well with the mysterious and dominant aura he radiated, as well as his appearance. everything about him was effortlessly breath taking and she couldn't believe how intrigued she was by this man she had just met.
"and your name is?" he asked in a slight expecting tone, cocking an eyebrow as his lips curled into a mischievous smirk.
she blushed at the intense gaze, licking her lips and tucking her hair behind her ear. her eyes watched the base of his throat as he gulped at the sight of her tongue swiping across her lips.
"harmony. harmony lewis."
"a beautiful name for a beautiful girl." he flirted, his eyes intently scanning her face to map her beautiful and delicate features in his memory.
she giggled softly which turned into a small yawn and she suddenly remember how late it was and she had work early. their eyes gazed into each other's for another few long moments before she made the move to pull away.
"well, it's lovely to meet you, derek hale. hope to see you around."
saying a goodnight to her, derek watched as her apartment door closed and locked. and she missed the way his eyes formed a dark glint in his irises when she say her goodnight to him. he was gonna make sure he saw her again. and he was gonna make her his.

hello. here's the first chapter to my new mini imagine series! i hope you all enjoy this small series because i absolutely love this idea. it's something i've been thinking a while about and i didn't want to make a whole new book. so i'm gonna make it into a small series in here.
this plot is completely different than i've written before so it makes this even more exciting. like mentioned before, it is going to be a very dark themed series so please be cautious when reading!
