There was a subtle tap on Lucas' shoulder where it would linger. Reacting to the touch, his eyes followed then he found Athanasia resting her head on it.

So he quickly pulled her to sit on his lap. It was a swift moment that she couldn't even resist. Or she never planned on resisting.

"Are you... tired?" He asked, hooking his chin on her shoulder, and putting his arms around her waist. She melted right in, intertwined her fingers with his as she rested her head on his chest.

Now he was even more concerned and confused by her reaction. Even though he found it comforting, he couldn't help but feel a slight uneasiness building up.

"Hey-!! Uh- Then... Cold?!" He asked, a little jumpy, as he pressed his cheek on hers to see if there was any temperature change.

"I'm far from cold. Thank you."

"Is there anything you need though? Is it the wind? My jacket is in the back. I can-"

Before he could ask more questions, she quickly shook her head, but at the same time, it was like snuggling up to his face.

"Lucas, calm down. I'm fine."

"Are you sure you are feeling alright?"

"Every bit of your voice is full of anxiety. What happened to my overly confident Lucas?"

"Overly?? Excuse me?!"

"Alright. Alright. Just Confident Lucas is enough?"

"No?"

"Why not?"

"Why did you take away 'My'?"

"So demanding."

"That's for leaving me for months. Do you know how heartbreaking it was?"

"Since when did you become this attached?"

"Since you left me!"

"But I'm here no?"

"I can hear you pouting, Lucas."

"Whose fault is that?!"

"Promise me you won't do that again."

She laughed lightly, raising her palm to touch his face, offering comfort though her eyes were still gazing out of the window, "I promise My confident Lucas that I won't leave you like that again."

"Just don't leave at all...," he said, burying his face in the crook of her neck.

"What if I have a business trip?"

"Then make me your driver. I'll drive you anywhere you want."

"What about an overseas business trip?"

"Have you forgotten that you have already made me your bodyguard?"

"We will talk about that when we get home. But honestly, it sounded like you are ready for anything."
