69. The Boiling Rock Part 1

I was excited as Appa landed on the ground. For the first time in forever, I felt free. I jumped from Appa and landed swiftly on the air below me before my feet touched the ground. I smiled as I saw Kiki/Huise flying towards me , beautiful in all her rainbow colored feathers. I hugged her as tears of joy fell from my eyes. "I had missed you so much." I told her.

"Me too." She said, a whisper in my head. I could only watch you from afar. I couldnt comfort you when you needed me.

"It's okay. I'm happy." I told her as I faced Aang and Zuko as they had giant smiles. It wasn't long before the rest came over and I ran to Sokka and hugged him tightly. He looked at me with his ocean blue eyes as bright as I had never seen before.

"Your eyes look beautiful." He said as he tucked some hair behind my ear. I smiled. I put my arms around his neck, ready to kiss him but then Toph shouted,

"C'mon love birds! Aang and Zuko are showing us some firebending!" She shouted. Sokka took my hand and we walked over to where the rest sat.

"It's dance." I whispered to Sokka and he snickered.

As the days went on, they were brighter for me. I was training with Aang to firebend and spending a lot of time with Sokka. It was like he knew what time I passed by his room because every single time he would abruptly grab me and bring me to his room."Sokka, you're lucky I know it's you otherwise I would have knocked your teeth off." I told him he placed his hands on my waist on brought me closer to him.

"You wouldn't do that.' He said as took some of my hair and tucked it behind my ear.

"Yeah I would.... I started but he kissed my neck making me freeze. He kissed me then whatever else that I was thinking about before I got here disappeared from my mind. Every time his lips touched my neck, I tried not to make any sound. It felt like jolts of electricity passing through my body making me shiver in a very good way. That's how it always started. He led me to his bed as his lips never left mine. He gently pushed me on the bed and he got on top of me.....

Then three days later he started acting weird all of a sudden. One dinner I saw him chatting with Zuko away from the rest of us. I glared at Zuko's back then looked at Katara. She was sitting next to me and she was also looking at them. "Do you know what they're talking about?" I asked.

"I was gonna ask you the same thing." Katara said. Everyone knew that Sokka and I had been spending more time together. He was my boyfriend now.

"I hope it's nothing to worry about." I said in thought.

"I hope so too, I don't trust Zuko." Katara said and I agreed. I did forgive him but I was not going to give him the benefit of the doubt. That night I didn't sleep. I stayed up and near his bedroom and carried my daggers with me. I knew I had powers but I still relied on my daggers which I had trained with them my whole life. I had a feeling that Sokka was going to leave somewhere. Wherever it was, he was not going to go without me. Two hours passed as I patiently sat on cold stone. It was then I heard movement. I watched Sokka quietly open his door with a bag and sneaked out. He walked sneakily but didn't pay attention till the last minute since he almost stepped on Momo. He was bad at sneaking because I could hear him breathing loud and clear and he hadn't noticed me yet. When Appa woke up he looked at me then looked at Sokka who told Appa to hush. He climbed up and I heard Zuko say,

"Not up to anything, huh? Sokka fell and I couldnt contain my laughter. He looked at me.

Taliya what are you doing here? he asked.

I should be asking you the same thing. I said. I glared at him. He looked at me then to Zuko.

Fine, I am going to rescue my dad. You happy now? Sokka said as he gathered his stuff that fell out of his bag.
