As we landed on the ground, I dropped down from Appa and breathed in air. It was humid and what I had learnt was that the Fire Nation was warmer than anywhere else in the world.

"Why are we in the Fire Nation?" I asked.

"Fire Nation? But the map says we're......" Aang started but I interrupted.

"In the outskirts of the Fire Nation? That's still in the Fire Nation." I told him.

"Well this should give us a good idea of what's around here." Katara said as she ignored Aang and I's conversation and went up to a notice board that we found.

"See if you can find a menu. I'm starving." Sokka said as he tried to eat crumbs out of the food bag.

"I don't think a menu would be there."I told him and he frowned.

"Maybe we'll figure out something to eat here. The Fire day festival." Aang said excitedly.

"It's today?" I asked. Ty Lee, Onji and I used to attend the festival every year in our town.

"Fire Nation culture exhibits, jugglers, benders, magicians......this we'll be a great place to study some firebending." Aang said excitedly.

"You might wanna rethink that. Look at this." Sokka said from the other side of the notice board and we joined him.

"Hey a poster of me!"

"A wanted poster. This is bad." Sokka said seriously. I looked at the notice board. There was a wanted poster of Zuko but as the blue spirit and one of a Fire Nation general that I knew I had seen him somewhere.

"I think we better keep moving." Katara said.

"I don't usually like what comes out of Katara's mouth but she's right." I said as she frowned.

"I have to learn firebending at some point and this could be my only chance to watch the Masters up close." I watched as Katara considered it. I would love to go to this town's fire day festival but.... I hated firebending. Ever since I was little. I didn't understand why Aang was pumped up to do it but he was the Avatar and he had to learn it.

"I guess we could go check it out." Katara said and I smiled a bit but then got worried. It would be nice to see how this town celebrated the Fire festival but what if we got caught?

"You want to go walk a Fire Nation town when they're all fired up with their......fire." Sokka complained.

"We'll wear disguises and if it looks like trouble we'll leave." Aang cheered at Katara's words and we left Sokka mumbling to himself.

"You guys stay out of sight here while we go to the festival." Appa and Momo immediately hid but Kiki's feathers turned green.

"Who knew she could do that?" Sokka asked amazed and we all shook our heads.

"Okay. Ready your disguises." Sokka and Katara wore their hoods. I took my Fire Nation cape and covered my head with the hood while Aang.... Aang tried to put his shirt on his head. I started to giggle while Sokka said,

"It's like you're a whole different person." sarcastically.

We headed down to the town. They were fireworks and once we entered the town I remembered.
"We need masks."

"We're are we gonna get masks?" Sokka complained. He was still against the idea of us coming here.

"Get your genuine fire masks here!" A man shouted behind us.

"That was surprisingly easy." Sokka said.

"So stop complaining." I told him and smiled. I could see him trying to look away colour rising to his cheeks. I went to join Aang and Katara in choosing masks. Katara and I kinda got similar ones and I didn't like it but we didn't come here to show off. Katara exchanged Aang and Sokka's masks.
