"Aaaahhhhh, please don't kill me, please NOOOO!!!"
"Gosh it was a dream, that was really terrible." Lead said, waking up from her slumber. Suddenly there was a knock on her door.
"Leah, you're okay?" A voice sounded.
"Yes mom, I'm fine." Leah answered.
"I thought I heard you scream, everything alright?"
"Yes mom, you might have just heard my alarm clock."
"Okay then, breakfast's almost ready, get ready for school amd come downstairs." Leah's mom said as she went down.
"I wonder what that dream was about, I'll tell the others when I get to school." Leah said, getting out of bed to prepare for school.
"Won't you have breakfast dear?" Her mom asked as she rushed down the stairs hurriedly.
"Nah mom, I'm good." Leah replied.
"Should I pack something for you?"
"No mom I told you I'm good, I don't need it!" She replied her mom, her voice a bit raised.
Her mom looked at her with a confided face but she just sighed.
"Take care mom." She said as she hugged her mom, gave her a peck and left the house. That dream had really worked her up this morning.
Leah got to school, went to her locker to get her things. As she closed the door her best friend, Alex, appeared behind her.
"Jeez Alex, you really frightened me." Leah said.
"The place is filled with the daylight and people and I frightened you, what's up with you?" Alex asked her.
"I'm sorry I was just thinking about something and then I just...." She was interrupted by the hissing sound Alex made.
"Alex, stop this, I'm really stressed and scared." Leah said.
"Okay relax, tell me why you're acting up." Alex told her best friend.
"I had a terrible dram and I think everyone should know about it."
"And what did you dream about?"
"I saw myself running in a dark forest, some people were after me. I fell to the ground and one of them came forward with a knife, he wanted to stab me with it. I screamed and I was back to reality." Leah narrated.
"So that's why you're scared?" Alex asked, surprised.
"Not that Alex. I saw something on that knife, it was the sign of the..." Leah said, stopping abruptly.
"Of what? C'mon tell me Leah." Alex asked, feeling chills.
"It...it was the sign of the Dark Side." Leah answered her.
"What? Okay I understand this. We are on the Side of Light and we have had conflicts with the Dark Side countless times, they're always after us." Alex said.
"After 'us', or ME?"
"No Leah, you are one of us so it's not just you. We have to inform the others, I'll tell them, we meet in the house after school."
"Okay, bye." Leah said leaving.
"See you later." Alex said and left too.
