"I would have to talk to Adams and Alex about the truth of this battle, I'm sure they would listen to me. Even if Rosa doesn't think so I can still give it a try!" Leah said late that night as she lay on her bed to go to sleep.

The next day Leah went to Alex's house so they could go to school together, she actually did so so she could tell her of what she came to know of recently.

So that morning when she got to Alex's house she pressed the doorbell, Stephanie opened the door. Without waiting for Leah to say anything she shouted, "Alex, Leah's here!"

Upstairs Alex shouted back, "You can't fool me!"

Stephanie left the door open and went towards the stairs but didn't climb it, she shouted, "I'm serious, she's sitting on the sofa here!"

Finally Alex came down saying, "This better not be a joke Stephanie." When she got to the living room and saw Leah, she was filled with surprise and excitement that she ran to her and gave hr a bug bear hug. Leah tried to free herself from the hug but Alex held on tightly and said, "I really missed you, I knew you would come around."

"Alex please let go of me." Leah said pissed.

"No, no, it's been a while month and days and we haven't talked, you always ignore me and now you're in my house, u really missed you a lot Leah." Alex said, still holding on to Leah who kept struggling and when she couldn't take it anymore shouted with an angry voice, "Alexander!"

Immediately Alex left her, she was shocked. Leah never used her full name, it was always 'Alex'. Alex could see the anger all over her face.

"I didn't come here so you could suffocate me in a bear hug, I only came do we could go to school together and talk a bit." Leah said, her voice firm and loud.

"Is there a problem?" Lyla asked, coming out of the kitchen.

"No mom, everything's fine." Alex replied her mom.

"Mom I'm leaving for school now." Stephanie said, picking her bag from the center table in the living room. "The bus is here and I took pocket money from your purse." She said opening the door to leave.

"Stephanie!" Her mom shouted bit she closed the door behind her and ran. "That girl." She said.

"We'd be late mom so we'll get going." Alex said, taking her bag from a chair near her.

"Wait, Alex you haven't had breakfast." Her mom said.

"Don't worry mom, I'm not hungry this morning."

"Wait, let me pack some food for you."

"Mom I'm not a baby, I'll find myself something."

"Then let me give you some money."

"Mother! Don't worry about it." Alex said going towards the door with Leah.

"Leah, I didn't realize you were here. How are you?" Lyla asked on seeing Leah.

Leah smiled a bit and answered, "I'm fine madam."

"Alright, Alex...."

"Mom, don't bother." Alex said hugging her mom and walking towards the door after with Leah.

"But you should..."

"Love you mom!" Alex said and closed the door, leaving with Leah.

She and Leah boarded a taxi and went off to school.
