"Well thank you for letting me have your food." Stephanie smiled as she walked with her sister.

"I'll give you my life next." Alex said. Stephanie laughed, not knowing her sister meant her words. Alex only wore a half smile.

"So we're just gonna walk to school?" Stephanie asked.

"You wanna hit the park?" Alex asked her.

"You're kidding!" Stephanie smiled.

"It's your choice." Alex shrugged.

"Wait, seriously?" Stephanie stopped facing Alex with excitement.

"It'll just be our little secret." Alex winked at her.

"Let's do it Sister." Stephanie screamed, filled with ecstasy.

Alex made sure to have the best time with Stephanie at the park, they played games, pranked people with their powers (since Stephanie was on cloud nine) and ate different things. Alex wanted this, this moment, which would soon be a memory. She watched her sister, looking so happy and full of life. This was her Stephanie, the Stephanie she grew up with, the Stephanie who was her sister, the Stephanie sho looked like Alya, the Stephanie whose role she has unconsciously been playing, not like this Stephanie cared.

This Stephanie definitely didn't care, but that Stephanie, the one on the chair in that sketch, she would!

She watched Stephanie blow out bubbles and imagined herself to be one of the bubbles. Popped and gone! But here's Stephanie! She was so happy and free, she imagined the kind of great change that was ahead of her. One that, even if Stephanie tried to reject it, she couldn't separate it from her. Right now, all she wished for was to be here for her sister, but even Alex herself wasn't sure of how much more time she had left to spend.

Stephanie soon noticed how lost her sister looked as she kept looking at her and she tapped her. Alex blinked a few times and Stephanie said, "It's getting quite late, we have to get home at the actual time you know."

"Yeah, forgot that. We should go now." Saying that, Alex left with her sister happily, feeling a bit fulfilled.

But what enemy wouldn't monitor the happiness of their opponent? The woman had been watching the sisters and their happy time together, she had been sitting by the fountain in the middle of the park. When they left, she simply smiled and left too.

*****Author's Note*****
Thank you so much for reading! ❤️
My Apologies for the short chapter.
I felt since Alex's time is gradually coming to an end in our book we should see a little of the next character taking front.
So here's a short one on Stephanie and what she can be like at times.
But what more lies ahead for her, how would she take this new change?
Let's talk in the comments!  ❤️
