The next day was a Saturday so Alex woke up late. Her phone rang. "Hello who is it?" She spoke into the phone sleepily, she had not looked at the screen to see the caller.
"Alex it's Leah, I want to tell you something important."
"What's so important? You just woke me up Leah."
"It's past 10am, you should be awake by now."
"Yeah yeah."
"I'm on my way to your house."
"What for?"
"I just said I want to tell you something important Alex."
"Okay, I'll be expecting you."
"Alright, I'll hang up now." Leah said as she ended the call.

"I'm sure Alex would be happy with this book. I wonder how it got to my room, maybe it's been here the whole time and I never noticed. Such intriguing spell guides." Leah said looking through a book she found on the study desk in her room.

"Sir, the job's been done. Leah must have found that book in her bedroom already." A man's voice sounded. He was talking to another man who looked much more older with pale white skin. They we're in a dark abandoned tunnel where trains used to pass through.
"Well good. Poor Leah would think that book would help them defeat us, she doesn't know it's the start of their division. The book contains evil spells amd myths. Leah is the weakest in her group, easy to deceive, we had to give her that book, not someone else. Now with such misguidance and division, they'll be ten steps far from defeating darkness, little rats. Well done." The tall pale man said as he walked on with the young man into the dark.

The doorbell rang at Alex's house.
"I'll get it!" Stephanie shouted, rushing down the stairs. "Morning Leah!" She said as she opened the door.
"Hey Steph!" Leah said, entering.
"I'll go call Alex." Stephanie said, running up the stairs again while Leah sat patiently in the living room.
"Alex, Leah's waiting!!" Stephanie shouted outside Alex's door.
"Coming!!" Alex shouted back and Stephanie ran back to Leah.
"She'll be down soon." She said and exited through the front door.
"Hey Leah!" Alex spoke, coming down the stairs.
"Hey!" Leah said, standing up to meet Alex.
"What did you want to tell me?"
"Actually, I want to show you something." Leah said, bringing out the book she found on her study desk from her bag. "This."
"Okaaayyy..... what's special about the book?" Alex asked, looking at the plain black book cover which looked very old.
"It looks ordinary right? But it's not jist any book, it's a spell book." Leah said, lowering her voice to a whisper when she said 'spell book'.
"What's a spell book?" Alex asked, uninterested.
"Seriously Alex?"
"Yeah?"
"Ugh! Well it contains spells for different purposes which we can use to fight Darkness."
"Really?" Alex asked, surprised.
"Yes!" Leah replied.
"Wait." Alex said, going towards the front door, she opened it. "No one's there." She said and took a quick glimpse round the room. "Come on, let's go to my room."
