She took in a deep, hard breath as she found her words.

"I know we're all pained right now but it's only over when we say it's over. Alex already played her part and she definitely trusts us to play ours. We must fight for our realm, for Alex." She spoke calmly and waited for the others to say something.

They were quiet except for Leah, sniffling and sobbing.

"For Alex." Thomas said. Diana nodded and waited for the others.

"For Alex." Max said too.

"For my Alex." Leah said through sobs.

Adams took a short breath and said in a deep, low and tough voice, "For our Alex."

Without warning he got up with force and walked to the ongoing wrestle between Jake and Smith. "Zulascendeo!" He yelled, picking Smith from Jake , who already had a bloodied face.

He raised Smith up, higher and higher into the dark skies until he felt a sharp pain at the right of his abdomen.

"Arrghh!" He screamed as he looked down to see a knife stuck to him with blood flowing from it. The distraction and pain took over and he brought his hands down to his stomach, also making Smith fall roughly from the height. He went on his knees in pain as Rosa walked to him with very visible burn marks all over her body.

"You're all so easily engrossed and distracted." She commented and she was right.

Their attention was divided between Alex and Adams lifting Smith, the didn't see Henry come and reverse the burning spell on Rosa.

But it was Rosa who was engrossed and distracted this time because Diana sent a thick green vine to her neck, uprooting her from her spot and flinging her all the way to the garden.

She ran to the garden to finish what she had started but Leah teleported thee, way ahead of her.

Diana came to meet Leah draining rhe power from Rosa who was quickly turning white.

Rosa looked dead but her evil mind was not going to repent. "This isn't what you want Leah. Trust me, these people despise you." She spoke slowly, in extreme pain. She continued, "They didn't even take your word, they judged you. We accepted you, we believed you, they lied to you Leah."

"Leah don't listen to her, she's a manipulative demon. Endbher quickly." Diana said to Leah, continously switching her gaze from Leah to Rosa.

Rosa let out a painful chuckle. "It's hour pick Leah. If I die now, you would be alone. Henry and Smith would blame you for my death, your team would turn against you and still call you a snitch. They would come after you and blame you for Alex's demise." She pressed slowly in her low, pained voice.

"But I.. I didn't want to harm Alex." Leah said, now unsure of herself. She was already questioningly her intentions in her mind and doing so got her distracted as the force she had on Rosa before was reducing.

"Of course you didn't, you never did. I trust you Leah, I believe you. I understand you, these people do not." Rosa told her, her voice already low and rough.

"Leah please do not listen to her, she's a liar. We love you Leah, you would always be one of us and we would never turn against you, never!" Diana begged, noticing now that Rosa's words had started affecting Leah's thinking.

"Lies! I will support you Leah and I will protect you from them. Remember how they kicked you out. All you wanted was to help, they didn't even rate you. Not Adams, not Alex, not even the League Head, remember Leah!" Rosa pressed on.

And she hit the spot! Leah's hands dropped to her sides as Rosa's weak body fell to the ground.

"Leah!" Diana rushed to her, holding her shoulders. "Leah are you okay? Are you.." Diana paused to observe her face and check if she was hypnotised. Bjt Roaa didn't look like she had any strength left in her to cast a spell or do anything at all. That was her mistake - underestimating the opponent.

Seeing them a little distracted, Rosa gathered all the strength she could and uttered, "Délàvïc!" A flock of black birds crowded the garden and Leag and Diana had to crouch low and shield their faces with their hands. Once the birds disappeared it seemed Rosa had also disappeared with them.

"Fuck it! Where did she go?!" Diana lamented.

"She couldn't have walked, she teleported." Leah said, thinking. Just then, her eyes went to the ongoing scene on the driveway and they went wide with horror.
