"I can understand we got a letter from the Dark Side but how did they know about my dream and why did they include it? I think my dream might come true, does this mean we would all die?" Leah asked filled with horror and fear. She was breathing so heavily like she just finished a 400 metres race.

"Calm down Leah, the battle has not even started. We have been told that this was bound to happen, a time would come when light and darkness would face each other and then the final battle for dominance. It was said that light would surely win so we shouldn't lose hope." Adams said, trying to reduce the tension in everyone. They were all scared, no doubt.

"It was said that light would surely win huh? But why did the letter from the Dark Side say so much that it contradicts the old saying?" Diana asked him.

"Guys relax and listen to me. Thus saying tells us that a group of people, six teenagers, would be chosen to represent light and fight against evil and darkness. These teens have been chosen even before they were born. Luckily, those six chosen ones were US. We have been chosen for this, this is our battle and...." Adams was still talking when Thomas cut him short.

"We have been chosen? If this battle truly is for us then why did the Dark Side tell us that the damn battle is for the mature and experienced witches, that is out LEAGUE. I have a feeling that the League knows that this battle is not ours but they want to push it to us so we die. They made that dumb old saying about six teens being chosen, they give us different advices which are actually lies and we've been believing 'em all this while. This battle is not ours, it's for the LEAGUE OF THE SIDE OF LIGHT, they're just scared, they can't fight any battle now, them old folks, they're too weak, now they wanna push..." Thomas was still talking when Alex shouted at him.

"THOMAS!!" She shouted with a very loud voice.

"You better keep that silly mouth of yours shut. Do you have any idea about what you're saying? You know very well that the League us formed by the most powerful witches in the whole Side of Light and you could muster the courage to spit out all of this. What is wrong with you?!! I could even slap you!" Alex said as she raised her right hand to hit Thomas but Diana was quick enough to draw her from him.

"Let him go Alex, let it be." She said

"Oh c'mon Alex you know the worst you could do was slap me, but I said the truth." Thomas said without remorse.

"Thomas, do you realize the privilege and honour that comes with fighting for our realm? A lot of witches were left out on this, those even much older than we are,there are other places filled with witches like us but we were chosen, YOU were chosen and now you're saying all this trash?! Thomas, a lot of people, adults, tried but Darkness has been ruthless, now we've been chosen. They've got so much faith in us Thomas, they believe we're capable of defeating darkness. To the outside world we're just some dumb ordinary teens but in our realm, we're their only hope. The battle is right before us and we need to be united to fight and defeat Darkness and here you are raising unnecessary issues!" Leah spoke to him.

"Leah, Alex, Diana, just leave 'em alone, Thomas has no sense of reasoning, only children raise such unnecessary talks." Max said, already pissed.

"One more word from you Max and I'm gonna punch you in the face." Thomas faced Max, angry.

"I'm talking so you understand our present situation and quit causing problems instead of being an idiot!"

"Max you're crossing the line and I..."

"Look here Thomas, if you're not comfortable with the way things are you can leave." Adams said to him visibly crossed.

"Leave?? Adams we're all really angry with Thomas but it's not like we'll send him away. He is part of us and he..." Leah was trying to calm Adams but he was taking none of it.

"To hell with it Leah. If he doesn't agree with us he should leave. We would and we can fight this battle and that is without his help. For Earth's sake Thomas we've known each other for years, we've done magic together and we've read and listened to stories about the final battle between light and darkness, then we were all so eager for this! Why? Because it was and still is a great privilege, we never ever had any reason to disagree with anything or cause unnecessary problems all these years while practicing different spells and reading different witch attacks, the battle wasn't even close. Now we feel the heat of it and we can't do anything because we're divided!
The Dark Side only wanted to cause a division among us knowing fully well there is no victory in division. And you're here giving everyone the wrong impression about everything! It's best we remove every obstacle on our way than have weaklings as chosen witches. Everyone of you listen, I am not backing out of this. If you no longer value the privilege we've been given just leave with Thomas now!" Adams spike, anger evident in his voice.

"Adams!" Alex shouted at him and everyone looked at her.
