CHOSEN

The Team

All the chosen members of the Side of Light met in the house. A very old building, it looked haunted because no one stayed in it for years, except witches, just like these teenagers.

Everyone was in the house already, except Leah and Adams, the leader.

"I wonder why Leah and Adams are not here yet." One of the members, Diana, spoke. She had gotten there with her boyfriend, Max, and Alex. The other guy, Thomas, came in few minutes after them.

"Adams is the leader and he is always distracted by that Leah. Why have a girlfriend when he knows how much responsibilities he has to take care of as a leader? If only I was chosen as leader by the League, there would be order!" Thomas said, getting angry, he was very short-tempered.

"Guys relax, they would be here soon. Maybe something important delayed them." Alex said, not liking the way Thomas was talking about her best friend, making it look like Leah was a distraction to Adams.

"Hello everyone, we're here." Adams' voice sounded. He came in with Leah.

"Adams, Leah, what took you so long?" Alex asked.mobing towards them.

"They took their time having fun together and we have been waiting here for so long. Now that they're finally here you talk to them with such a calm voice?" Thomas spoke, bringing up unnecessary problems as usual.

"That's enough Thomas. Don't talk about them like that, especially Adams, he's our leader." Max said, he had not said anything since he got to the house.

"What would you do? Punch me?" Thomas asked, trying to infuriate Max.

"That's enough, we're not here to fight. I called everyone here because I wanted us to know about Leah's dream." Alex spoke before matters could get out of hand.

"I hope it's not a bad one this time." Max said.

"Everyone knows that Leah's dreams always come to pass, whether good or bad. Like when she dreamt that Adams would be chosen as leader, it happened. Same as other times." Diana said.

"Well let's listen now." Alex said, gesturing to Leah to speak.

"In my dream, i was running in a dark forest, I was being chased by some people. Then I fell to the ground and one of them cake towards me with a knife to stab me, on the blade was the symbol of the Dark Side." Leah told them.

"What?!!" Exclaimed Diana and Max.

"You can't be serious." Thomas spoke, doubtfully.

"We all wish this is a mere dream, unfortunately, we all know that part of Leah's powers is the ability to dream about things which would happen in the future. So there's every possibility that this dream would become a reality and it might not be Leah, it might be one of us, or all of us. So we have to be careful and protect each other. Adams, what do you think?" Alex said.

"I...I don't really know. I think we need to visit the League, I have a very bad feeling like something very bad is going to happen and a warning would..." Adams was interrupted by a sound coming from the window.
