Leah

"Leah?" Max and Diana said in unison. Now they tried violently to turn around but couldn't.

Alex and Adams remained as they were, still and shocked with their eyes glued to Leah, their mouths open as she stood before then, looking at each of them one after the other.

"Leah." Adams called softly, like he couldn't believe it was really her.

Leah looked at them with a blank face.

"Leah." Adams called again as he blinked continuously.

"Adams." She said simply.

"Leah you.. you're here? What's going on?" He asked her in confusion.

"What should have happened a long time ago." She replied him, her voice low and rough. 

"Leah what are you talking about?" Alex asked her with teary eyes. Her best friend looked so different.

"I'm talking to Admas!" Leah snapped at her without takiyher eyes off Adams.

"Leah, what do you mean? Who are..."

"Adams." She interrupted him as she crouched to his level, looking him in the eye.

"You won't be harmed, you just have to surrender." She said to him calmly.

"S.. surrender? Leah..."

"You have all dragged this misunderstanding for long enough. You have a chance to just surrender. Even though you're in the wrong, we won't harm you." She said, standing up and walking round them.

"You all betrayed my trust." She started.

"Leah we did no such thing." Adams spoke, his voice tensed and raised.

"Quiet!" Leah shouted. "I speak, you all listen." She said harshly, standing in front of Diana and Max.

"You all said my book was evil..."

"It could have killed Max!" Diana returned loudly.

"I wish those snakes actually strangled you all." Leah growled at her.

They couldn't believe their eyes and ears. Whatever happened to their friend Leah? They looked on in shock as she went on.

"You would feel the same pain of betrayal I felt if you refuse to surrender." She said, now standing next to Rosa.

"Leah you're being deceived." Alex said to her.

"You were my best friend and you didn't take my side. Don't say a word to me now." Leah said, menacingly shooting death glares at Alex.

"Wait, best friend?" Jake asked.

He had been there all this while with the rest of his team. They were all in their late tens and they stood round their captives. He wasn't so interested in what was going on until he heard Leah call someone her 'bestfriend'.

"Who is..."

"Quiet!" Rosa quickly snapped and signalled him to stay on his spot. He did.

"Put the blindfolds back on." She said again as two males approached them. She quickly walked to Jake, caught a hold of his arm and walked out of the room, pulling him with her.

"Who are.." Diana was going to ask as the smiling blonde guy walking towards her interrupted.

"I'm Henry, he's Smith." He said nodding to the guy on hus left before tying the blindfold over her eyes and round her head. They finished and left.

"I can't believe Leah would do this." Diana said when they were gone.

"She's someone else now." Max commented.

"Did you see the way she spoke to Adams? That backstabbing demon."

"Thomas!" Adams screamed at him. They were tied and blindfolded else the universe knows what he would have don't to Thomas. Yes Leah betrayed them but she was still heir friend, his girlfriend. He sighed helplessly.

"Alex, are you there?" Diana asked, noticing her silence.

When she didn't respond Adams elbowed her lightly. "Alex." He called.

"Yes?" She answered.

"Are you fine?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm good. I was just thinking of something. The voice."

"What voice?" He asked her again.

"When Leah accused me of not taking her side as her best friend, a guy spoke after. His voice...his voice sounds so familiar. I feel like I know him... well." Alex reasoned.

Adams sighed. "Well, I can't say."
