"Leah, what is it? Your call came so late and urgent, what happened?" Adams asked as he got to the house, he met Leah there, with Alex and Max.
"I had another dream Adams and this was so confusing and scary, I wanted everyone to know." Leah said.
"Tell us." Diana said, arriving through the back door with Thomas.
"Diana, Thomas, why did the both of you pass through the back door?" Adams asked them.
"The front door was locked amd I was going to ask why." Diana replied.
"Locked? I came in through that door few minutes ago and it wasn't locked, I certainly didn't lock it." Adams said.
"Then who did?" Thomas asked.
Just then they heard the back door open, followed by quick footsteps.
"Who's there?" Alex shouted. Immediately the door closed with a loud bang.
"Someone's down there." Max said as he moved, quickly followed by Adams and Alex to check on the door.
"It's locked, we've been licked in!" Max spoke, trying to pull the lock open.
"Who did this?" Alex asked no one in particular.
"Definitely The Dark Side, what's the darn gain in locking us in?" Adams said, pissed.
"What happened guys?" Diana's voice sounded as she descended weak stairs of the house that led to the backdoor while holding Leah's hand, Thomas following them closely behind.
"Someone locked us in." Alex replied her.
"But why?" Thomas asked.
"Okay I'm freaking out." Leah said in a shaky voice.
"I'll get the lock open now." Adams said, raising his hand, his palm directly facing the lock. "With all power, but forming locks, just now we call, release us all." He said and immediately the lock came open and he threw it out the window. He went to the front door and repeated the same words, also throwing the lick out the window.
"But what's the use locking us up. That's really dumb." Alex said, as they all made their way back upstairs.
Getting to the spot they always gathered, there was an envelope on the table.
"This wasn't here before." Diana said, picking the paper. "I think it's a letter. Now is this written with red ink...or blood?" She asked observing the italicized inscriptions on the envelope.
"Blood?!!" Leah asked, her voice raised in panic.
"We're all here together Leah, no need to be scared." Alex said, sitting next to Leah and placing one arm round her shoulders.
"Something's written on the back." Thomas said, noticing the bold writing.
Diana turned the envelope. "Another one." She said as her shoulders dropped.
"What is it?" Adams asked her.
"The Dark Side sent this....again!"
"Let me see." Adams said, taking the envelope from Diana and taking out the letter in it. Without much thought he read it's content out loud: "WE LOCKED YOU IN, OF COURSE YOU'VE OPENED THE LOCKS. WE SPARED YOU THIS TIME, NEXT, WE WOULD BURN YOU ALL!"
"Why do they keep sending these letters? We're not scared!" Max said, infuriated.
"We will have to face them soon and out am end to their threats towards our realm. Keeping distractions aside, we came here to hear Leah's dream, please tell us." Adams said, gesturing to Leah who looked frozen like a leaf in winter.
"No, I don't want to." She said, her voice shaking."We understand you're scared but concealing the dream would do you no good Leah." Alex said, holding Leah's hand. Leah looked at her and she nodded her head in encouragement.
"In my dream .."Leah started, unsure of her own dream. ..."in my dream, I was walking alone and the whole area looked deserted. An old man appeared in front of me and told me to tell my members to prepare because 'the war is tough'. He also told me to stand my ground and fight back confusion because the opponent would try to 'steal' me from my realm but I can stop it if i want. I don't understand..."
"What do you not understand?" Thomas cut her off. "The dream is clear as crystal. We're being told that the battle isn't child's play so we must be prepared for anything. Also, Darkness would try to convert you to their realm so you have to be very careful, you can withstand it IF you want." Thomas explained.
"I guess we should watch each other's backs and be careful. Leah, you have to be strong, Darkness might not confront you using magic or just dreams, do not let yourself be deceived Leah, be strong." Alex spoke to everyone and Leah.
"Alright." Leah replied her.
"So can we go now?" Max asked.
"Let's leave." Adams said as they all made their way out.
