This person, who was she exactly? A witch or a goddess? It took them all some time to snap out of wherever they had gone to.

Alex was the first to speak but she wasn't fully recovered from the shock yet. "Stephanie?" She spoke in a small voice. The woman looked at her with a blank face. "S..Ste.. Stephanie, you..." Alex was moving towards the woman when a man suddenly appeared in front of her, standing between her and the woman who looked so much like Stephanie, her younger sister, only that the woman was an older version.

The man was one of the witches they summoned and he was just as stunning. He had red hair with piercing green eyes. His angelic face looked as hard as stone and Alex could only stare at his face helplessly like a lost sheep.

"It's fine Bancroft." The woman's voice sounded again. He turned his head to the right but didn't face her. She placed her hands on his right shoulder from behind and he stepped aside. Alex was dumbstruck. Seeing the woman's face again, she felt like she was in a dream, floating among flowers. It was a weird dream which came to an end at the call of her name, "Alexander." It was the woman and she pronounced the name so softly it sounded like a small song.

Alex blinked twice and opened her mouth to say something but went temporarily dumb.

"Alya." The woman said and walked past a dumbstruck Alex. The man she called Bancroft found her a wooden chair and she sat, he stood beside her.

"Poor kids, did you guys really have to render such a tough entrance?" It was the last witch, he was the same size as Bancroft but had a more welcoming face. Blonde hair, ocean blue eyes, God, where did this people come from? He walked and stood on Alya's left.

"I'm Arden and I think we would get along just fine." He said with a smile that suggested warmth.

The young witches were still surprised but Adams managed to speak. "Actually we summoned the ancient witches..." Arden cut him off.

"And do we look like witches from your age and time? Oh! Understandable." Arden laughed softly.

"Ask!" Alya spoke.

"Thank you." Adams started. "We found the spell book and there are some things which are not so clear to us."

"Sit." Alya ordered. "All of you." She added.

"This is going to be a looong talk." Arden said as he got himself a seat. Bancroft remained standing right next to Alya.
