"You are angry and you think we aren't? You're the leader, yes we know that, but we won't let you do whatever out of anger! We can also do what we want, we have emotions too. Thomas said the wrong things and you're angry, we all are. When you were made leader the League made us understand that we can oppose your decisions if we feel it's not right and that is what I'm doing right now!" Alex said, facing Adams.
"And what do you mean?" Adams asked, faking interest.
"I say that Thomas goes nowhere, nobody is leaving. We all took an oath when we chose to fight for light so we have been rooted in this. We can't leave and you, being the leader, you have no right to send anyone out and that is final Adams. And as for you Thomas, I would be kind enough to keep your utterances far from the ears of the League. Now I want you and Adams to reconcile with each other and give yourselves a hug." Alex said, trying to make peace.
"Oh please Alex." Thomas said.
"Ssshhhh, I want to hear nothing." Alex told him.
"But Alex..."
"Quiet Adams, apologize to each other and to the rest of us and hug, got it!"
"Alright. Thomas, I'm sorry, I couldn't control my anger and I said those things to you and everyone." Adams said with his head down feeling guilty.
"No, I'm sorry Adams, I was so annoying, I even insulted the League, forgive me, I'm sorry guys " Thomas said as he hugged Adams.
"We forgive you." The others did and they all went to hug Adams and Thomas together. The group hug lasted for a while before Leah's phone rang.
"Be right back." She said as she left the room they were in.
"Alex." Thomas said facing her.
"Yes Thomas?" She faced him.
"I deserve punishment for my words, the League should..."
"No way Thomas. You know how the punish erring witches, they'll lock you up, take your powers and torture you for months. We're not having this discussion again." She said and left him.
"Alex, Alex come here!!" Leah shouted from where she was.
"Coming." Alex said, going to meet her.
"Do you know who just called?" Leah asked, beaming with smiles and excitement for her friend.
"How would I know?"
"Come on, guess."
"Leah, you know I hate guessing."
"Pleeease."
"Your doc?"
"Seriously Alex."
"Family lawyer or some relative?"
"Alex come on."
"I told you, I don't wanna guess Leah."
"Alright. It was Jake!"
"JAKE!!" Alex shouted in surprise.
"Yes Jake! He's back and says he'll be seeing you tonight." Leah said happily.
"Oh my God! But why did he call you and not me?"
"Actually Alex, Jake wanted it to be a surprise but I got too excited for you and .... I'm sorry."
"Leah."
"I'm sorry."
"It's fine. When he comes I'll just act like I never knew." Alex said, smiling.
"Great, I'm going home now, bye." Leah said leaving.
"Bye." Alex said to her and went to meet the others."Adams, Leah just left, I'm leaving too, goodbye."
"I think we should all leave now." Diana said and they all left together to their various homes.
