They were all surprised and confused.
"Why is my younger sister in this book?" Alex asked, confusion building in her head and mind.
"Okay is this a spell book of one for prophecies?" Thomas asked, jist as confused as the rest of his members.
"I think we should just summon the ancient witches, things would be made clearer." Adams said.
"Alex?" He faced her.n
"Me?" She asked him, surprised that he would ask her to summon the ancients.
"You can do it." He held her shoulder.
She sighed. She faced the book and opened to the previous page it flipped to and followed the instructions to summon the spirits of the witches.
She stretched her hands out a little above the book, took a deep breath and read out the spell:
"Alya, Arden and Bancroft
I summon you by your names
And accord of the greatest witches of past times
That ye attend to me now
I summon the spirits of the past
Now, come and fulfil my desire
Understand my words and answer
COME!"As soon as she was done, a strong wind blew and they all lost balance and fell to the ground. The whole place was immediately filled with so much light, they had to shut their eyes closed. When they opened it, they saw three people in white cloaks standing in front of them. Their faces were barely visible due to the hood of the cloak. All that could be seen on their faces were their mouths and noses.
The place went silent for a while as the group members were surprised and a bit scared for a moment. Finally one of the three spoke;
"And what do you need from us?" One asked, it was a female voice.
The young witches who had fallen on the floor stood up slowly. Adams spoke first, "Actually, we need answers."
"And what are your questions?" The same female voice asked. Alex replied her, "You probably know about our forthcoming battle, we need you to explain to us what needs to be done to ensure our victory."
"Are you sure that is what you want to know?" The female voice asked.
They all looked at each other, unsure of what to say till Thomas spoke casually, "Why don't we just sit and talk dear Miss?"
The person who had the female voice turned her head to face Thomas and walked slowly to him. Thomas moved back subconsciously as she kept going to him. Everyone else looked on. When his back finally touched the wall, Thomas stopped and looked at this person whose voice was intimidatingly melodious even with the firm way she spoke with an aura that sent chilling shivers down his spine. She stopped right in front of him, they were just a few inches apart. She took the hood off and his eyes widened. Thus lady, no woman? He didn't know, but she did look like a goddess.
She looked into his eyes which were already producing rivers of fear, disbelief and something else she didn't want to fathom. Her eyes were a bright brown, the exact same colour with her hair. But those seemingly bright eyes held nothing. She placed a hand on his chest and felt his fast heart beat. "Be calm." She said softly and removed her hand. She turned to the rest and they all went white like they had seen a ghost, especially Alex.
