Bound by time (TVA Loki)

"Ravonna, trust me I got everything under control", I told her as I looked up to her from the bottom of her desk. She just was about to let the Loki variant get reset. He was wiggling himself free from the minutemen that were holding them. I looked at him and smiled.
"If anything goes sideways, it's on you", Ravonna whispered.
"Thanks."

I walked over to Loki and gave him a challenging look. He smirked.
"And who are you", he asked. I didn't answer. The minutemen took him to the elevator. I was following them. I took him over and entered the elevator. Loki looked around. He was quiet and cautious.

"I'm agent (y/n) by the way", I said as I offered him my hand. He looked at it, but didn't accept it.
"Are you taking me somewhere to kill me?"
"Oh no, that's where you were about to go to", I explained, "Now I just wanna have a talk."

He looked quite skeptical at me. I cannot blame him, he literally was about to get reset. But with the recent attacks from one of his variants he could be very useful. The elevator's doors opened and I led Loki into a timetheater that wasn't occupied. 

I told him to stay put and wait for me to return. I had to grab a drink first. I was at the vending machine when hunter B-15 walked up to me.
"Talking to that variant is a mistake (y/n)", she said between her teeth.
"Why does no one trust me", I lost my patience.
"We do. We don't trust him."

I re-entered the timetheater and found Loki waiting, his eyes filled with curiosity and suspicion. I approached him with a calm demeanor, ready to engage in a conversation that could potentially change everything.

"Alright, Loki," I began, "let's have a real talk. I know you've been causing chaos all your life, but I believe there's more to you than meets the eye."

Loki raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued by my words. "What makes you think that, agent (y/n)", he questioned, his voice laced with, again, skepticism.

I took a moment to gather my thoughts, knowing that my next words could have a profound impact.
"Because, Loki, I've seen the potential for redemption within you. The ability to use your cunning and intelligence for something greater than yourself." He leaned against the wall, processing my words.
"And why should I trust you? You're just another agent of the TVA."

I smiled, trying to convey my sincerity. "I understand your hesitation, but I'm not like the other agents and judges. I believe in second chances, and I think you deserve one too."
Loki's expression softened, a flicker of hope in his eyes.
"What do you propose, agent (y/n)?"

I took a closer step, my voice filled with determination.
"Join forces with me. Help me uncover the truth behind the TVA's secrets, and together, we can change the course of our destinies. I think there's something more behind this organisation and I know you want to unravel it too." Loki's smirk returned, a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Well (y/n), you've gained my interest. Let's see what mischief we can create together."
