Missed me? (Loki)

"You look absolutely beautiful", Loki said as I walked into the room.

I had changed into a long dress for a meeting with the leaders of
S.H I.E.L.D. and a dear friends of us, Nick Fury. As the new princess of Asgard and one of the new members of the Avengers, Tony asked me to meet them. Loki had joined my trip to make sure I was safe.

"Don't be so cheeky puny god", I teased him. Loki rolled his eyes and asked me for my arm to exit our transport. I accepted and we made our way to Fury.

When we got outside, he was waiting for us with his guards and advisors.

"Princess (y/n) I am happy to meet you!", he opened his arms for me.
"It's an honour to meet you", I said as we engaged in a hug.
"I am sorry, my apprentice will be arriving later, she had other things to arrange first", Fury informed us.
"I didn't know you had a apprentice", I said.
"Yes, I am getting too old and I want to pass on my knowledge to someone younger so when I am gone she can replace me while holding on to my ideas and ideals. She's been through a lot and has seen a lot of pain", as he said that last sentence he sank a bit in and looked down at his feet.

I wonder who his apprentice will be.

"Let's go inside shall we", an advisor suggested us.

We made our way to a room where we could discuss and negotiate about the Avengers and its future. Loki was holding me tight even though we can trust Fury and his men. He always took extra care of me.

We sat down at a large table and the bartenders braught us something to drink. I sat accros Fury and next to me was Loki. He was stroking my leg underneath the table which means he needed some affection.

I laid my hand on his and gave it some strokes with my thumb. Next to Fury was an empty seat for his apprentice.

Suddenly someone knocked at the door. An agent opened it and a beautiful woman walked inside. Loki immediately sank in his seat and started to get nervous.

She was wearing black clothing with a beautiful golden necklace and her blonde with dark brown hair was just long enough to touch her shoulders.

I looked over to Loki who just looked down at the table and started fidgetting with his fingers.

Why was he so nervous? She's just Fury's apprentice?

"Your Majesty may I present you Sylvie my apprentice", Fury introduced the woman.
"Hello variant. Missed me", the woman asked Loki with a mischievous smile on her face. Loki looked up to face her.

I didn't understand what was going on? How does she know him?

"Sylvie, what a pleasant surprise", Loki said nervously.
"I see you've moved on with your life", she said cold as she looked at me.
"I see you've made yours better", he snarled back. Sylvie gave him dead eyes back and Fury cleared his throat to make clear the two of them had to stop.

As our meeting continued there was some awkwardness between us all. Sylvie had been staring at Loki and I the entire time and it felt as if she could burst into flames any minute.

I noticed she was also making eyecontact with the agents the entire time. Something was troubling her.

"I am glad to hear tha-", I got interrupted by two agents who grabbed me by my shoulders. Loki stood up with Fury but they got captured too!

Sylvie had a smirk on her face as she stood up with a dagger in her hand.
"Sylvie what are you-", Fury asked his apprentice is utter panick.
"Take back what's mine", she told her master.
