Rescue

we open on the house once more where everyone is preparing for a rescue y/n's rescue as today and once they are prepared they will head down to the living room to hear the plan Alastair has set up.

Luz was in her room and like her friends has geared up for this rescue mission she was coming light on weapons and brought some medical supplies bandages, disinfectant etc. but at the moment she was staring at her second weapon (her first being a metal baseball bat) a gun chambered for .45 acp rounds and was feeling conflicted on one hand sure it was her only real option since her glyphs stopped working but on the other hand it was a GUN a tool designed to kill and she was not a killer but then she thought "is a gun really that bad when compared to a fireball?" she had seen what damage fire can do to a body, she was at a hospital during bring your daughter to work day it was where her mother worked as a nurse.

A/N: in this story Camila is a nurse.

she was waiting for her mom when out of nowhere and on a stretcher being carted by Camila was some poor bastard whose car got caught on fire about half of his body was charred black and oh good lord the smell was worse than even the foulest odor she could think of, this gave her nightmares for two weeks and with that brought to mind a gun probably wasn't so bad.

Luz: i guess wielding a fireball in your hands is very different than holding a gun knowing what both can do to the unlucky schmuck in front of you.

she sighs and puts the gun away into a holster she grabbed as well knowing she may become a killer today.

 and with that said and done she goes downstairs for Alastair to give the plan.

Alastair was looking over a old map and blueprints of the facility it was a massive thing built into gravesfield's part of the Appalachian mountain range.

Luz: so we ready for this thing or what?

Alastair: these were the only things i could find about the place and they are old way before me and y/n escaped from it and when we did we caused major damage to the facility, so beyond the entrance we may have to play things by ear when we get inside.

Luz: and beyond that?

Alastair: first thing is we find my brother but that needs no explanation but when we find Ryker we kill him.

Luz: wait why? beyond getting deserved revenge for what he put you two through why do anything more than finding y/n and getting out of there?

Alastair: because he will track us down like he has been doing and unless stopped now he's only going to be a bigger problem later down the line especially for the boiling isles once he finds out magic exists.

Alastair: but here is the interesting thing and why i told none of you to bring explosives, Ryker has a portal to the boiling isles it's a one way portal but its still a portal so when we rescue my brother we can go straight back to the demon realm and free it from the collector.

everyone came down ready for this mission.

Eda: alright lets do this.

timeskip.

it was dark out and the team were watching from the forest the entrance to the facility guarded by the programs soldiers.

the first two were wrapped up in vines from head to toe completely restrained courtesy of Willow the last two were knocked out by Jack and Dan before they could react.

with those soldiers dealt with Alastair put in the doors passcode  allowing entrance to the rest of the facility.

Alastair: and here comes the hard part trying to navigate this place, while we're in try to keep an eye out for a map it'll make this a lot faster.
