we open upon a starry night sky where everyone is on a platform in titans skull and above them lies the archive house the castle the collector built out of the bone of the titans skull.

while others were celebrating getting here y/n was just thinking to himself looking right above at the floating crown shaped castle only one thought and sentence in his mind.

y/n: in the final stretch, it's do or die from here on out.

y/n then looks to his friends and family.

y/n: as long as air is in my lungs we'll make it out ok, we will win this battle if i have any say in it come hell or high water.

however without warning magical tendrils grab all of them and whisk them away somewhere.

with Luz.

Luz sees visions of the in between as a voice talks to her

Luz: what happened we were just about to enter the archives we were just about to rescue King.

???: Luz the human, you have to wake up.

Luz wakes up in the emperors throne room in the palace.

Luz: how did i get here!?

Luz notices she's wearing a copy of Belos's old outfit and panics falling to the floor.

Luz: what is this some kind of dream, ow!

Luz: stringbean you happy little power noodle i'm so happy to see you, are mama and the others ok?

Luz walks around the palace all punctuated by an eerie quiet pervading everywhere and gets to the entrance and sees a horrifying sight.

everyone below the drawbridge petrified into statues.

Luz: what no no, when did this happen!?

Amity?: don't you remember? this is all your doing you helped Belos meet the Collector your actions led to this you've been the real villain this whole time.

Luz: look i don't know what i missed but i'd never do this.

Amity?: i'm sorry Luz but i'll have to take you down.

Amity? attacks Luz with abomination goop but gets on Stringbean and flies into the palace just as the gates closed.

Luz this isn't a dream this is a nightmare.

with y/n.

y/n also wakes up somewhere odd.

y/n: hmm strange i thought i remember this place getting blown up.

the place in question was Rykers old complex.

y/n: and i definitely don't remember getting this thing on.

y/n was wearing his old gear from when he met Eda.

y/n walks around the complex air filled with nothing but the sound of boots on a metal floor.

y/n: the quiet would be welcome if not for the creepy atmosphere.

he continues walking his path illuminated by the sterile light all to common in the complex.

y/n: so the Collector is trying spook us for whatever reason instead of just wiping us out.

y/n: this won't work on me you hear starchild, i've already faced my demons and fears you've got nothing to scare me with and are now just wasting our time.

then he opens a door and sees a sight to chill anyone to the bone.

Eda cut open on a table eyes as dead as her body, blood everywhere.
