Things were slightly better between the Ridleys once they got home.

"I can't believe you thought Buzz was your dad." Theodora poked at the subject, an amused smirk on her face.

"There was a real possibility!" Reagan defended herself, "It made sense in the moment! And besides, you thought it too!"

"Why didn't you think he was my father too?" Theodora raised an eyebrow. "Oh right, you were too eager to have me as your half-sister instead of your full sister."

"Stop putting words in my mouth, Theo." Reagan frowned, her patience wearing thin. "Their affair was way before you were born, it wouldn't be possible. Besides, there's no way you aren't Rand's daughter."

"What? What's that supposed to mean?" Theo snapped her head towards her sister. Both of them knew that that was the worst insult either of them could muster. "I was actually joking, I know there was no possibility of Buzz being my dad."

"Cmon, Theo. Not only do you look like Rand, you're just as... unhinged, I guess." Reagan shrugged, fully aware that she was provoking Theodora.

"Well, isn't that just the pot calling the kettle black!" Theo raised her voice, incredulous at the fact her sister thought she was unhinged.

"Yeah, I know I'm unhinged! But I have a strenuous job that causes that!" Reagan's voice was strained. "You're just... regular person crazy!"

"You sound so dumb right now!" Theodora yelled, her eyes wide. "We share the same parents! As much as you hate it, we're gonna be similar!"

"No we aren't!" Reagan snapped. "I am nothing like you."

"Yeah, I'm not a genius like you." Theo muttered, "I get it. Everyone's always made that very clear to me, all my life."

"God, you just love playing the victim, don't you?" Reagan scoffed, folding her arms.

"Where is this coming from? Why are you always picking a fight with me?" Theodora groaned, rubbing her temples. "Can't we just be normal siblings?"

Reagan frowned deeply, and before she could think about what she was saying, the words came out,

"It's because I'm jealous, okay, Theo? Is that what you wanted to hear?" Reagan yelled, defeated. Theo paused, taking in what she had just said.

"What? Why on earth would you be jealous of me? You are the head of our team at Cognito and you'll probably be the next CEO, isn't that everything you've ever wanted?" Theodora groaned, "When will you just be happy with what you've got?"

"You're normal." Reagan said simply, her voice wavering slightly. "You can hug people without freaking out. You can carry a conversation effortlessly and without being awkward. You can make eye contact. You're pretty, the kind that makes other people mentally ill, you've never had trouble getting a date. For God's sake, you pulled Zac Efron!"

"Yeah, I go to therapy. You should try it sometime."

"I don't have time!"

"Right, because you're so wrapped up in your work. That's why you ruined your own life, trying to be just like dad." Theodora pointed her finger at her sister.

"I didn't ruin anything." She said through gritted teeth. "At least you got a childhood. You weren't forced to be an adult at 13!"

"Oh, I'm sorry I had a normal experience of adolescence!" Theo yelled sarcastically, "It wasn't all sunshine and butterflies either! Or did you forget everything I went through, too?" She had had a tough high school experience. Despite being the average popular cheerleader cliche, she went through some major shit behind closed doors. And for Reagan to brush that off hurt a lot.
