Accidentally in Love [Brett Hand x OC]

Theodora didn't feel like sticking around to see Brett get hazed so she rejoined the others.

J.R was with Reagan talking to some important Reptoids and Andre and Myc were nowhere to be found so she just hung with Gigi and Glenn.

More like they were babysitting Glenn as they shit talked everyone at the event.

When the main celebrations began, Brett was not back yet and his spot at the table stayed empty.

As the reptoids spoke, J.R frantically called Brett's phone but he wasn't answering.

"Theo," J.R growled, "where is Brett?"

"I don't know." She shrugged, "He was just reunited with some of his frat brothers so... they're probably somewhere sucking each other off."

J.R scowled, "I can't give the speech because I spilled dip on my crotch, and I cannot stand up! Reagan, I need you to give the speech."

"What, me?" Reagan seemed terrified.

"You said it yourself, you've conquered all your issues." J.R said.

"But-"

"Go, go!" J.R pushed Reagan forward. "You're going to crush it!"

"She's gonna choke." Theodora muttered as Reagan took her place in front of the microphone on stage.

"What is up, reptoids?" Reagan said, her voice cracking. "Anybody here from a... a subterranean lair?"

Only a couple of reptoids gave her recognition with scattered applause. Theo sighed and looked down at her phone, beginning to scroll through instagram.

She tuned out Reagan's speech, but was brought back to reality when cheering erupted in the room and Reagan had achieved a standing ovation.

Theo quickly stood as well, "Yeah, Reagan!" She cheered, without a clue of what her sister just said.

"I'm Reagan Ridley, and on behalf of Cognito Inc,  let us raise a glass to our continued alliance!" Reagan exclaimed, grabbing a bottle of champagne from a nearby waiter and opening it, and spraying the audience with it like she had just won a race or something.

"She's quite something when she's confident, huh?" Gigi whispered to Theo, who nodded.

"God, she'd be unstoppable if she was always like this." Theodora took a sip of her champagne.

Meanwhile, on stage, Reagan had enveloped one of the reptoid leaders in a tight hug, almost too tight.

"You're crushing me!" The reptoid cried out, but Reagan didn't let go.

"What's she doing?" Glenn frowned, turning their tables attention to the pair on the stage.

Suddenly, and surprisingly, Reagan ripped off the reptoid's arms.

Everyone gasped loudly as he spurted blue blood everywhere, screaming and yelling. Reagan dropped the reptoid arms in horror, before running off stage and out of the building, security following her closely.

"About time someone did something about these reptiles." Glenn folded his arms, earning a kick from Gigi under the table.

"Oh, no. No no no." J.R muttered, his head in his hands.

"What is her deal with hugs?" Theo said in wonder, before they were seized by two reptoids.

They were thrown out the place, and J.R began begging on his knees to them,

"Please don't cut our funding. I have mistresses to feed." He pleaded.

"Funding?" One of them growled, "After what just happened, you're lucky we don't launch war on humanity right now!" She said before ripping the contract in half.

"There's gotta be a way out of this. What about a human sacrifice, huh?" J.R called after them as they disappeared back into the building. "This is a disaster," He turned to the group, "where is Reagan?"

Reagan, who was with Brett, apparently, was soon captured by the reptoid police and a trial was to be held at the supreme court and so the team made their way straight there.

"Well, Reagan, the bad news is, if you lose this trial, it may mean war." J.R spoke seriously, "The good news is, I got you the best lawyer who cost us nothing!" Theo took a seat next to Reagan, a smile on her face.

"Theo? Is that even legal? She's my sister!" Reagan's eyes went wide. "And she didn't even finish law school!"

"Yeah, but I negotiated my way in, in the first place." Theodora shrugged. "I can convince anyone of anything."

"Negotiate, or sleep with the entire board so they let you into the school?" Reagan groaned.

Theo only rolled her eyes, before turning her attention to Judge Judy who had appeared before them.

"I have a shoot in 20 minutes, so let's make this quick. What are the charges?" Judge Judy said coldly.

"Your Honor, Ms. Ridley ripped off our leader's arms in an act of hostile bigotry towards reptoids." Every reptoid began to boo Reagan.

"This true?" Judge Judy asked, "You rip his arms off?"

"Yes, technically, but-" Reagan started but was interrupted by Judge Judy again.

"Alright, rip her arms off and call it even. Thank you."

"Your Honor, please." Theodora stood up, "I intend to prove that my client might be weird as shit, but she doesn't discriminate. She's like that to everybody. The defence calls, Brett Hand!"

Brett went up to the stand to give his testimony, "Oh yeah, Reagan can't hug anybody." He said, "See this bruise on my face? That's from one of her hugs, and we're friends."

Each member of the team went up to give their testimonies, Andre diagnosing Reagan with Asperger's, Glenn becoming violent as usual, and Myc proclaiming that she's always had a crush on him.

That was until Rand burst through the door, "Sorry I'm late." He said, Bear-o following closely behind. "A father should never miss his daughter's first sentencing."

He then spoke to his daughters, "On the bright side, I finally finished reassembling Bear-o, so... that's something."

"Get that the fuck away from me." Theo backed away slightly.

"You brought that thing?" Reagan demanded. "Dad, this is serious! I could be going to jail for a long time, all because of some mysterious reason I am unable to fucking hug!"

Bear-o approached Reagan, "Hello, Reagan. Would you like to give Bear-o a hug?" Theo cringed as Bear-o tightened his arms around Reagan.

"Holy shit," Reagan came to a realisation, "You never hugged me!" She pointed to Rand, "You made a robot bear do it instead, and I was so traumatised that I repressed the memory for years! That's why I can't hug anyone without losing my shit!"

Theo's eyebrows shot up as she looked between Reagan and Rand.

"Oh yeah? Then why can the other one, uh- Theo, hug people?" Rand raised an eyebrow. "It's not like I gave her any more attention than I did to you."

"I can hug people, but you definitely messed me up in other ways." Theodora stood, her hands on the desk in front of her. "Your Honor," She turned to Judge Judy, "allow me to call Rand Ridley to the stand."
