The next morning, Theo threw up three more times, before she ventured out to the kitchen with a smile on her face. By the time she arrived, it was 1pm and everyone was having lunch.

"Good afternoon, sunshine!" Myc chanted as she poured herself a coffee.

"Thought you didn't drink coffee." Reagan had bags under her eyes, which wasn't a surprise. Her interrupted sleep last night had taken a toll on her regardless.

"If you only knew how little I give a fuck right now." Theodora groaned and sank into a seat.

Brett watched her, he had no idea if she remembered last night or not.

Apparently everyone else was thinking the same thing, "Do you have any recollection of last night?" Gigi asked.

Theodora shook her head, "Not really. I just woke up with a mad headache and something brewing in my stomach so I assumed I had a killer night."

Brett and Reagan exchanged a glance, as Gigi laughed, "Yeah, me neither. For some reason, I remember Beyoncé. Maybe we met her? I hope I gave her a piece of my mind... fucking Illuminati bitch."

"Fuck! We met Beyoncé and I don't even remember it!" Theodora groaned, "Wait, maybe we took a photo with her." She pulled out her phone and proceeded to scroll through her photos. Most of them from the previous night were blurry and Theo didn't recall taking a single one.

"Are you guys still drunk?" Myc exclaimed, "No, you guys did not meet Beyoncé!"

"Lower the volume." Andre groaned, his head in his hands.

"Theo, you gotta knock this out." Reagan snapped, ignoring Andre's request for them to speak quieter. "You know there's a good possibility you could be an alcoholic. It's in your genes, idiot."

"Oh relax, I'm fine." Theo mumbled, "And besides, why do you even care? I thought you hated me."

"I do." Reagan muttered under her breath.

"C'mon, everyone has these kinds of nights. Who here hasn't blacked out at least once in their lives?" Theodora justified herself.

Brett couldn't help but feel sad and a little angry. Theo didn't remember kissing him and yet he couldn't sleep because his mind was on it the whole time. He couldn't help but feel like she was playing with his feelings. But it was Theo. She wouldn't do that to him, would she?

Theo's gaze rested on Brett and they made eye contact. She offered him a smile before her cheeks turned red and she tore her eyes away.

Fuck. She thought. Please tell me I didn't. Why did she have a memory of what his lips felt like and tasted like and how it felt in her stomach as she kissed him?

"Oh no." Theodora muttered, feeling bile rising yet again. She left quickly and quietly to throw up again.

Everyone else started to leave to do their own thing and left only Reagan and Brett.

"Reagan." Brett started nervously, biting his nails. "I gotta tell you something."

"What is it?"

"Theo kissed me last night." He spoke so quickly that Reagan almost didn't catch it.

"What?" Reagan dropped the piece of toast she was holding, her eyebrows shooting up.

"Yep." Brett started to pace, "And I don't know what it meant. Or what to do. I don't even know if she remembers it."

"She was really drunk..." Reagan reasoned, "And she's a bit of a slut, so..."

"Reagan!" Brett hissed.

"I'm sorry, Brett. But I think she just might have been hormonal. I think she would have kissed anyone in that moment." Reagan shrugged. "She's an asshole, I wouldn't put it past her."

"But it wasn't like that." Brett whined, "And I can't stop thinking about it!"

"Oh," Reagan sighed sympathetically, she realised that he wasn't asking for pragmatic solutions but rather just some reassurance and advice.

"So... you don't think she meant it?" Brett asked.

"Brett," Reagan said sadly, "I don't think so. She has a boyfriend, remember?"

"Yeah, no, you're totally right." Brett frowned and nodded.

"Hey, coming to you as your friend, Theo is bad news." Reagan shook her head, "I've told you once and I'll tell you again. She cares about you as a friend but she can be pretty heartless when it comes to guys. I don't know how you feel about her but I would try to forget about it."

Brett took in what Reagan was saying, but he couldn't just forget how he felt about Theodora. Reagan then left for Brett to think things over.

Meanwhile, Theo lifted her head from the toilet bowl again. She knew she had to talk to Brett about the kiss. She wasn't even 100% sure it happened, either way it confused her. Why on earth would I even kiss him in the first place?

She took a shower to wash away the grime from the night before putting on fresh clothes. Feeling like her mind was clearer, she decided that she would find Brett. She couldn't stand it if things were weird between them because of something stupid she did.

He still sat in the kitchen, and he looked as if he was in deep thought. Brett looked up as she entered, but looked away quickly. Just the person he wanted to be alone with.

"Hey." Theo leaned over the bench, "Um, so I have a question."

"Ask away." Brett smiled and decided to act like nothing was weird or awkward.

"Okay, this is gonna sound weird but is there any chance that I accidentally kissed you last night?" Theodora picked at her nails.

Accidentally. So it was an accident. There, he had his answer. As if he even thought that she would ever kiss him not by accident.

"Yeah." Brett chuckled awkwardly, looking at his hands.

"Oh, God." Theo placed her head in her hands. "I am so sorry. I don't know why I did that. I'm such an idiot. Why do I keep fucking up?"

It felt like a repeat of their conversation the previous night. "It's okay, Theo." Brett said gently. "You were drunk and you didn't mean to."

"I am not drinking again for a long time." She sighed, rubbing her temples with her fingers. "I'm sorry. Are we okay?"

"Yes, of course we are." Brett smiled as Theo rounded the corner of the bench and hugged him. "It's gonna take a lot more than that to make me mad at you."

Theo chuckled before pulling away, her hands still on his arms. "You're amazing. I mean, putting up with me must be hard."

"Oh, it's torture." Brett smiled cheekily, "I just can't stand the sound of your voice."

Theodora whacked his arm playfully, earning a soft "Ow." from Brett.
