Amethyst, Y/n, and Steven are watching crying breakfast friends on TV.
"I don't get this cartoon, man!" Amethyst exclaimed.
"You 'n me both..." Y/n looked quizzically at the three characters.
"...Why don't they just eat the ice cream off the floor? They don't have to cry about it." She suggested.
"Ew." Y/n commented, with Amethyst rolling her eyes. The TV soon became static.
"Awww, not again. It was doing this yesterday, too." Steven put his head down.
"I got this.." Y/n got up and punched the TV to no avail. "Anything?" They asked. Steven shook his head. Soon, it showed Peridot.
"This is Peridot transmitting on all frequencies from abandoned crystal colony planet earth to Yellow Diamond. My mission has been compromised, my escort and informant are gone, and I am now stranded. Please send help." The TV spoke and then looped.
The gems were now watching the TV as well, and Steven was on the phone.
"Okay, thanks.." He got off the phone. "Connie says it's on her TV too."
"But where could Peridot be transmitting a signal that strong?" Pearl asked.
"There's only one place." Garnet stated.

Lion transported everyone to a new area. Y/n got off of the lion and looked around. "Lion, are you okay?" Steven said, lion was on the ground. They were probably exhausted.
"What IS this place?" Y/n asked before turning and seeing a giant pillar structure.
"It's called the communication hub. It seems like Peridot somehow repaired it." Pearl said.
"Maybe she used one of those robodroids." Y/n added.
"No, she said they were all accounted for in the Galaxy warp." Garnet corrected.
"So... we just gotta wreck it up again, right?" Steven asked.
"Again?" Y/n turned their head, unaware of a previous instance.
"Last time they became Sugilite! ..Then Sugilite fought Pearl." Steven explained.
"I can be brash, she can be reckless. We both can get carried away. From now on, Sugilite is benched," Garnet explained. "Pearl, let's fuse."
"..Alright, I'm right behind you!" Pearl said, starting to stretch. "It's been such a long time..!"
Y/n and Amethyst sat down next to Steven, the latter looking a bit sad.
Garnet and Pearl's gems began to glow as they started dancing. Garnet threw Pearl into the air, and she freefalled into Garnet. An orange pillar of light emerged that the fusion pulled away like a curtain.
"Goooooood evening everybody! This is the lovely Sardonyx coming to you live from the soon-to-be former communications hub! How are y'all doing tonight?" Sardonyx asked.
"Great." Amethyst said with a distinct lack of enthusiasm.
"Giant woman!" Steven gasped.
"Pretty good, boo." Y/n smiled.
Sardonyx brought down two of their hands to Steven and Y/n, which the two got on. "If it isn't Y/n and Steven Universe! Was I worth the wait? Oh, what am I saying! Of course I am!" She hollered.
"Wow, you're so articulated!" Steven complimented.
"Incredible performance." Y/n added.
"Well, aren't you the sweetest little charmer!" Sardonyx said, using her other hand to lightly squeeze Steven. "I could literally squish you right now! It would not be hard." She said. Steven laughed while being squeezed.
