"Ommmmm..." Y/n sat with their legs crossed..
"What the heck're you doing??"
"Meditating, dipstick."
"Don't call me that."
"I mean, you need a nickname."
"Call me... Amber."
"Cool... it suits you. ..Anyway, I'm meditating to get over some things."
"You're upset because you're losing control in life, slowly but surely, things you love are starting to slip away."
"..."
"Things happen for a reason. Let change happen."
Y/n's meditation was further interrupted by a phone call. It was on DND so it had to be important.
"An amber alert..? Crime? Did I fail a test?" They thought out loud, picking up their phone and seeing a text from Steven.

(Me): what's wrong??
(Steven💎): gem stuff
(Steven💎): connie's sword taken by her mom
(Steven💎): we need to go to the hospital
(Me): ughhh
(Me): give me 2 minutes.

"No more meditating for you."
"Oh har har."

Y/n descended on shimmering light wings, scattering light feathers. Once they touched the ground the wings dissipated.
"Evening." Y/n said.
"N/n!" Steven exclaimed.
"Hey." Said Connie. The three walked into the hospital. "Lead the way." Y/n monotonously muttered.
"This way!"
"Connie, slow down." Y/n groggily followed the two more excited kids. The three walked into a dim hallway which slightly smelled of chemicals.
"Ahhh, you mean the super scary way..." Steven said.
"Is this where they film horror movies?"
"It might as well be.."
"It'd be much less scary if-" an eerie moan cut Connie off.
"..Let's just goooo.." Y/n steeled themselves and quickly snuck through the corridor, passing by two employees on their way out.
The three followed Dr. Maheswaran to a patient's room and waited outside.
"Okay... I'll sneak in there and get the sword, you two stay out of sight."
Y/n dive rolled into the room and stayed in the shadows. "What..?" Dr. Maheswaran looked at the corner where Y/n was for a while, eventually squinting and then going back to using her stethoscope.
"What was I saying... right, you didn't find an I.D.?"
"Flawless."
Y/n grabbed the sword and started for the door. "Hmm, no heartbeat... Ugh, cheap hospital budgets." Y/n heard the stethoscope drop and knew they were too slow.
