"Rose..?" Y/n asked, looking around the pink mindscape for the first time in a while.
"Oh, you're awake." She responded. Rose smiled at them... but it didn't last long.
"It's been a while." Y/n mumbled. "What's up?"
"You have a... an upcoming trial. Malachite is coming. You don't have much time but I want you to know that whatever happens happens." She explained. She could feel Y/n becoming disparaged by her words, so she calmed them with a hug. "You can't do both. Defeat her with the gems."

"THAT'S YOUR BUTT!"
"Jeez... who's that?" Y/n asked, laying down. They felt something- someone with them. ...When Y/n looked up they saw Pearl cuddling with them.
"Pearl?" They asked. She looked down at the human in surprise. "What are you doing?" Y/n asked.
"We chased you for a while last night." Pearl chuckled. "Then we stopped, and then you passed out inside of the barn... I started l-looking at you sleep, then I wanted to feel how sleeping felt..."
At that point the two were blushing red and teal respectively. The two's faces began getting closer and closer...
"What are you doing with the Y/n?!" Peridot exclaimed, running inside the barn with her tiny legs.
"We aren't doing anything." Pearl stated defensively.
"Whatever. I demand Y/n comes with me."
"Why??" Y/n asked.
Peridot ignored them and kept talking to Pearl. "Why do you need them?" Pearl asked. "Ugh, the permafusion requires me to have a.. 'chaperone' so I can acquire a part from the Kindergarten."
"Fine." Pearl let Y/n go, and she went outside to go work on something else.
"She's into you."
"Shuuut up."
"What's that red stuff on your face?" Peridot asked.
"Garnet! Can I accompany Peridot to the Kindergarten?" Y/n asked in an attempt to deflect.
"Take Amethyst with you, please." Garnet responded. Peridot groaned at the proposal, making Y/n assume that she wanted alone time for some reason.

Peridot started logging on her tape recorder while Y/n and Amethyst dismantled a broken injector.
"Log date 7-11-2. The Amethyst and the Y/n have volunteered to help me dismantle this Era 1 drill. How stylistically displeasing. The newer ones have a nicer finish."
"Call me N/n! I insist!" Y/n exclaimed from the background.
"You making more nerd notes?" Amethyst asked, referring to the logs as nerd notes.
Peridot stopped recording and got curious. "What is nerd? Can you use it in a sentence?"
"Ahem. Nerd, you are a nerd." She laughed. Y/n tried to hold in their laugh but snorted.
Peridot began talking to her tape recorder once more. "As you can see, this planet is annoying and everything is annoying. Amongst its... transgressions is the need for the Amethyst to ask permission from the perma-fusion."
"Is that your nickname for Garnet?" Y/n asked, jumping down from the injector.
"I could nickname her lots of things. I could nickname her two things! Two clods! Walking around like she's... one clod!"
