(A/n: Sorry for taking so long with this one, the short explanation is that I had two parts planned and I didn't like how they were turning out so they were scrapped.)

Y/n opened the door after a deep breath and some contemplation. After a quick glance, the human saw that she was folding Steven's shirts while looking down. The two met eyes, startling the gem.

"O-oh! Y/n, you're early... I thought we would go in the afternoon." Pearl stopped folding clothes to look at Y/n.

"I'm not here for that. I'm here to apologize for... being petty about things." Y/n proceeded up the stairs. Sitting down to be on Pearl's level, Y/n put their hands over Pearl's and started talking once more.

"I'm tired of being mad at you. Can we go back to being-" Y/n was interrupted by the thin gem hugging them.

After a few minutes, Y/n's phone vibrated. The human reached in their pocket and looked at the phone to see what it was, staring at it for a minute.

"Is something wrong..?" Pearl asked.

"Nope. N-nothing." They put the phone away and embraced Pearl a bit longer.

"Do you need help with laundry?" Y/n asked.

"Aha! Looks like my plan worked perfectly!" Pearl exclaimed, pointing at Peridot.

"Good mornin'!" Steven greeted the green gem.

"Yo." Y/n greeted.

"What!? How did you know I was here?" She asked.

"It's a secret! If you beat us in a fight... well, that won't happen." Y/n said.

"Don't you Gems have anything better to do than annoy me!?" Peridot exclaimed.

"Nope, we're gonna—" Amethyst started but was interrupted.

"Prepare to be annoyed!" Pearl exclaimed.

"I'm already annoyed."

"That's rich coming from you."

Peridot groaned and formed an energy blaster with her fingers. "This planet has an expiration date, and I'm not gonna stick around to find out when!"

"..Where's the Y/n?" Peridot asked, looking around. Y/n swept Peridot by her legs but was shot point-blank.

"Shoot-!" Y/n grunted, Peridot chuckled.

"That's it! I'm taking her out!" Pearl charged Peridot.

"Pearl! Wait!" Garnet exclaimed, but Pearl was already hit with a tractor beam, and then thrown into Steven. Garnet was forced to catch her.

"Get her!" Garnet said, putting Pearl down.

"I've... got it!" Y/n initially struggled but managed to get up with a light dagger in hand. Peridot got into a dysfunctional warp pad and taunted everyone... only to realize the warp didn't work.

"URGH! This entire planet is dysfunctional!" The dorito said.

"Good thing that doesn't include me!" Y/n slashed Peridot from behind.

"OW! You little worm!" She turned around, having to block another slash and engage Y/n in fast-paced physical combat. "I could really use a a puma about now!" They sweatdropped,

After a minute and a half both combatants were fatigued. The second she had an opportunity Amethyst dived in and flung Peridot decently high.

"Waaaah!" Her nasally voice cried out.
