It was no surprise that she was angry she spent most of her time with the self-proclaimed genius angry at him for his childish antics but she always came back. She sat at the terminal gate waiting for her flight, one hour left before she left for good; one more hour until she was gone for good. She sat with her head in her hands thinking about all of the memories, both good and bad that she shared with Tony. They flooded her mind with a torrent of emotions that she just couldn't hold in, she cried softly next to an older man who watched silently for a few moments. She tried, really, but she just could not let go of all of the good things he had done that outweighed the bad before the bad really hit her. The bad, were terrible and she just squeezed her eyes shut letting all of the emotion she felt out when she felt heard the man next to her talk.

"here, no need to be rude to a pretty girl in tears" he handed her a few tissues and she gladly accepted them as she calmed herself down. She had a moment of clarity and sighed looking ahead taking in the details of the poster on the wall opposite them.

"mind me asking what has you so upset, Dear?" he reminded her of her father and instead of frowning or being upset at his memory she smiled before talking again.

"a man I thought I knew threw away everything we had, seven years. . .wasted" she muttered harshly but the man listened to her words as she continued, "he's never had a great reputation but I went and gave him a chance. I gave him my heart and all he did was play it, he threw away all of the good times for a night of bad decisions and regret."

"We used to be so happy, he used to be so nice but I guess that was my fault for giving him so many chances." She shrugged and leaned back into her chair cleaning her face once more with the damp tissues in her tightly clenched hands. She wasn't so much angry anymore as she was upset, hurt, and disappointed in herself.

She realized she just confessed an awful lot of personal stuff to a complete stranger "I'm so sorry for throwing all of this at you, you must have problems of your own" she asked looking over at the man taking in his appearance. He was older she knew that from his grey hair, slouched posture, and wrinkles but he had the most intense eyes; they were like staring into another dimension. She shook the thought away and watched him smile slightly, he seemed to think before he spoke to her again.

"Ah, love, she was a sweet women but she's gone now" before she could say anything he continued talking as if he read her mind "no need to be sorry, she is waiting for me when my time comes but that's not my point. He needs this wake up call, he needs to know that you won't let him walk all over you. You and him, I assume you love him even now" she nodded listening and taking in his words.

"You love him, and if he loves you, he will come back to you and he will tell you all the things your heart needs to hear. He will tell you everything that he should have said and when he does your heart will know what the right thing to do is." he pats his chest with tears in his eyes "don't take it for granted, don't let this slip away."

There was silence as she took in his words, they were true but she still didn't quite understand. She turned to the man watching him wipe away the tears that welled up as he spoke "but how will I-" she was stopped by the speaker system calling for her flight to board and she stood up. She turned away from the man for a few minutes to look at her ticket and ignore her phone. She was still upset and even though the old man had given her some lovely advice it didn't make things different.
