One and Only - Clint Barton One Shot

I'm still not taking requests but I've been having some issues coming up with ideas for one shots. So, these are in hopes of sparking some more ideas.

You loved working with Clint, it was something that came naturally for you and for him. Sometimes working with him was serious business where lives were on the line, others were just helping him prank Fury. You preferred the latter. He was so much fun to be around that after three years it was no surprise that you started to develop feelings for the man. It was also no surprise when the same thing happened to him but with that came the realization that neither of you knew of the others feelings. Leaving you both too worried about ruining a friendship then confessing your feelings towards one another.

You weren't going to lie, seeing his with any woman made your blood boil. Natasha, she was the worst of all and even though over the years you had gotten to know the Russian red-head you still felt the jealousy when you saw the two of them together.

"I don't know, he's one of my closest friends. How am I suppose to bring that up in a conversation, Steve? Why am I asking you. . ." You laughed softly at his face.

"Oh, don't act like you know any more about dating then I do!" You gave him a gentle shove that didn't really move his strong form any.

"Well, you're right, but I still think you should at least tell him." You rubbed your face.

"That's the problem! I mean, really, are you that dense? I can't just bring it up outta the blue, you're lucky I love you like a brother or I would not be asking you for advise." You laughed giving up on the subject as he shrugged.

"Have you guys figured out anything more with the Ultron thing?" He shook his head.

"Other then what you already know, no, we don't but I think I have some hunches that might lead us in the right direction." You were silent for a few minutes.

"You told the others yet? About what you think is going to happen?" He nodded.

"And not me? Man I feel the love!" You grabbed your chest, faking feeling hurt.

"You work all over the place, you're part of the team and spend most of your time with us so you'll know sooner rather then later. Don't be so worried about it. Speaking of that, I don't want you coming along when we get to that fortress in Sokovia." He said standing up and offering you a hand to help you up, which you took. You two had been sitting on the floor of the gym for about an hour now.

"You know as well as I do that I'm going to be there, I don't care what you have to say about it Steve. I can't leave my friends and family in trouble like that, especially if something happens and I'm not around to help. I don't care if I'm not needed just knowing I was around to help is enough to offer me peace of mind. Steve, you should know that about me. I learn from you after all." You smirked and he sighed.
