Crazy - Charles Xavier One Shot

  He couldn't believe you stayed, after so long, you're still right here. Mutant or human you've been here for such a long time that you must be crazy.

"Love, why do you stay?" He asked you as you sat on the end of your shared bed.

"Because I love you, Charles." You smiled looking into his older eyes just like you had when he had first asked you out all those years ago.

"Why do you stay?" You asked him as you grabbed his hand from the short distance away you were from him.

"Because I love you, don't I drive you crazy with all of my constant complaining and problems?" You laughed.

"You ruined our first date, you're stubborn and hard-headed but you are incredibly sweet with a heart of gold. Charles, If I'm crazy it's only because I am crazy over you." You watched him bring your knuckles up to his lips and press a kiss to them.

It wasn't like you were lying, in fact you were being very honest. You were probably more sure of this than you had been about anything else. You met him by accident at one of his seminars, you were quite interested in everything he had to say and stuck around afterwards with a few others in hopes to ask him some questions. It ended with you two getting a drink afterwards and it only blossomed from there and there wasn't a moment you regretted.

He was completely infatuated with you, your smile and bright eyes made him melt every time. Even after Cuba, it was you that kept him strong and he wasn't sure why you let him call you his but he was certainly lucky. When he was at his lowest you were right there and it was not one sided, he was there for you just like you had been for him.

"What brought this on?" You asked placing your hand on his cheek.

"I was only thinking too deeply about things, nothing to worry about." He smiled, wrinkles pulling back with it.

"Age hasn't changed your beauty love, you are still so incredibly beautiful." He said placing his hand on top of yours while it stayed on his cheek.

"Ah, you flatter me but you should remember to look in the mirror. Age hasn't made you look any less handsome to me than the day we meet, less hair maybe but certainly no less handsome." You grinned and he chuckled.

"Always the one to joke." You placed a kiss on his lips.

"One of us has to be!" You gave him another peck on the lips before stepping back and behind his wheelchair.

"How about we head out to see what the students are up to or have you been busy interfering with their thoughts again?" You eyed him from your spot behind him and he laughed.

"Me? Never but yes, let's take some time out of this room. We've been so busy with work that we hardly have time like this anymore." You agreed and pushed him out into the hallway greeting students as they passed.

"I love you like crazy, Sweetheart." Telepathy, something you too were very good at and something you both bonded over.

"Like crazy, Love."

There is seriously not enough love for him going around and it makes me sad. . .ANYWAYS! I decided to change that and write more for him, I love Charles honestly he is very interesting(James McAvoy certainly makes him easy on the eyes~). P.S.A. if anyone knows of anyone doing oneshots for X-Men let me know~ I most certainly will request some I need some more good stories to read.
