Having Fun - Loki Laufeyson One Shot

"Shut up, Tony" You rolled your red eyes and flipped back your white hair, you weren't really mad at your brother, he was only trying to help you out. Trying to protect his little sister from the menace that tried to destroy all of man-kind in one day.

"No, Jade, I am serious about this. You are not going to hang around him, he is nothing but bad news!" he glanced up from his phone to notice you were carelessly messing with your nails. He hated when you acted like that, he always thought it was disrespectful but you didn't really see the problem.

"Would you at least listen to me like you care, I mean really?" he raised his hand in an 'really, would you look at yourself' motion.

"Look, I don't see the problem with hanging out with them. Thor will be there so everything's going to be fine, you guys beat his ass the first time you surely can do it again if a problem comes up." you placed your hand on your hip.

"Fine, whatever, but don't come crying to me when the man breaks your heart" he only half meant that because as much as he would like to act tough, around you he was putty.

"Sure, Bro, like you'll leave your little sister all alone and crying" you snickered when he rolled his eyes but placed a soft kiss to his cheek before taking off towards the SHIELD Helicarrier.

You had dolled yourself up, making sure to look cute but not overly dressed up. You were waiting in the elevator, fiddling mindlessly with your necklace - a habit you had formed over the years. Your hair was curled and sat lazily down your back, you were pretty nervous because you hadn't told anyone about the relationship between you and Loki. He was a sweet man, spending most of his time misunderstood and alone even though his family always said they were there for him. You and him sort of understood one another, in a way neither of you could explain.

"Miss Jade!" Thor greeted you with a large grin on his handsome face.

"Thor, how have you been today?" you laced your arm through his and began to walk with him towards his brothers cell. You never really understood why Loki had to spend most of his time here on earth in that stupid cell but you also never questioned Fury about it. The man was scary enough as is, you really didn't need to make it worse by bringing up Loki's confinement. You and Thor talked most of the way, exchanging casual words and nothing more. He always went on and on about why you should be careful around Loki and why you shouldn't trust him. You stopped listening to it, it got monotonous and boring after the first hundred times.

"Hey!" you chirped letting go of Thor's arm and rushing up to the glass containment.

"Hello, what brings you by today?" he sneered, he was understandably angry but you also never acknowledge his irritation.

"I came to spend some time with you!" you were waiting for Thor to open the door so you could enter and sit with Loki.

"Oh would you hurry up you big oaf!" you barked back towards Thor who finally managed to get the devise to work and the doors opened.

Once you were in there you nearly knocked Loki over as you launched yourself into his arms.

"Be careful, I don't need you hurt now" he whispered as he held you "your brother would never forgive me even at your own clumsiness."

You laughed, he was right of course, your brother would damn near have a heart attack if you came back to him with any sort of injury no matter how minor. You proceeded to hop onto the Demigods back with a childish grin on your face,

"Let us go!" you pointed forwards towards the small bookshelf but he did not move.

"What in Odin's name are you doing and why are you on my back?" he grunted as held you steady.

"I am a God, this is childish!" he was getting frustrated but you only laughed, leaning down next to his ear.

"And I am part wolf but you don't see me bragging about it, now, forward!" he did as instructed and lead you to the bookshelf where you grabbed your favorite one from the top.

"Why are you doing this?" he was curious now as you got off of his now aching back.

"I just wanted you to have a little fun, come on," you handed him the book and sat cross-legged on the bed he was provided.

"Read this to me and once you're done I'll see if I can get you some time out of this blasted tube" you plopped back placing your head on his lap as he proceeded to read to you. You both had an exceptional time, having fun, together even if it was for a limited time and in a clear cell with his brother on guard.
