Not Gonna Happen - Leonard Snart One Shot

I won't lie, I'm rather proud of this even though I don't know the characters very well. Enjoy!

You were there when he was in the lab alone, when that freak event happened. You were right with him in the hospital treading the line between this life and the next. You may be Barry's little sister but you liked to believe you were there for him just like he had been for you. You were with him trying to figure out his powers as well as your own. You told him just about everything because you two were close. You had one secret though, one that could potential tear you and him apart. You didn't want that but you couldn't keep it a secret for much longer.

You met Leonard by accident, well, sort of. He was going to kill you but when his tricks didn't work on you and you had enough sass to backtalk him, he decided to keep you around. You two had only grown closer, with your abilities similar to his it was only natural. You could control all aspects of water and had super speed just like your brother but he's faster. You were twirling around a pen in your fingers when someone sneaked up on you, resulting in a stab wound.

"Shit! Oh god that hurts, I'll remember that." Barry groaned pulling the pen from his forearm and you covered you open mouth with your hands.

"Oh god, I am so sorry!" You placed pressure on the wound and slowly it stopped bleeding.

"I'm really sorry about that but you know better then to sneak up on me! I have told you a million and one times not to do it." You rolled your eyes when he offered you a sorry smile.

"Look, I needed to talk to you about something." Your blood went cold and you just knew in the pit of your stomach what was about to happen. Call it intuition but whatever it was wasn't going to end well.

"I heard from a little bird that you're seeing Snart. Sis, are you?" You stepped away from your brother with a sad expression on your face.

"I am and whoever that birdie is better watch his back because god help his soul if I find him." Barry's face fell from hopeful to dead serious in a fraction of a second.

"You aren't allowed to see him anymore, I don't care what I have to do to keep you two apart but I will! He is nothing but bad news and you know that!" Barry exclaimed and you rolled your eyes, he's said that about ever guy you've ever been involved with.

"Barry, listen and listen good because this is the only time I'm going to say this. It's not gonna happen. I love you Barry, I love you so much it hurts me inside sometimes but I can't listen to you. I can't rely on you for everything and you can't expect me to listen to you for every reason. You've spent our whole lives trying to keep me under your watchful eyes but I'm done. I can't live a life like this anymore. So, if you want to be my brother and be the one who has always been there for me then you need to trust me." You said, tears in your eyes as you stepped further from him.

"Tell me that this isn't the last time I'll see you. Tell me it's not gonna be thrown away because you can't get along with him for me. If you can't then, I guess I'll see you around. Bye, Barry." You didn't waste a second and took the chance to run. You knew every spot to hide in around the city and even though he was faster you had that on him.
