"Oh, you so cannot beat me!" You laughed waving off the silver-haired man's accusations.

"And vhy not? I am zo much faster zan you!" You laughed again, mocking laughter that only made Pietro grumbled incoherent Russian.

"Oh please, you are not faster than me!" You rolled your eyes and huffed, tossing your magazine lazily onto the coffee table that sat in front of you.

"Vould you two hush! It is giving me a headache." You grumbled turning to face away from Pietro in order to ignore his childish faces.

You had known the twins for a long time now, at least three years and in those three years you had developed a rivalry with Pietro and a friendship with Wanda. You had thought it was nothing but a friendly rivalry between the two of you, see you had the same abilities as the silver-haired man that teased you. You were recruited for a similar reason as they were but you had been apart of a different experiment in another part of the country. That though, was a story for another day and didn't have anything to do with your feelings towards the twins.

You, in fact, quite adored the redhead, his sister Wanda. So much so that you realized you had come to like her, quite a bit. You weren't sure if anyone could tell or if they had just been too nice to say that they did know about your crush. You had hoped, in vain, that she'd offer to spend some time alone with you but your hopes were unfounded. You had only every been with her alone once and that wasn't even truly alone because Tony has the place wired.

You never liked giving her headaches because they seemed to get pretty bad and it made you feel bad but you couldn't deny the chance to argue with Pietro. He was too much fun to tease and in turn it would annoy her, which it what you meant but it's all in good fun.

"Why don't you go bother Tony or Steve, Pietro?" You suggested trying to defuse the situation you helped create.

"Vine, but, I'm varning you, no vunny business!" He gave you a small wink and it was then you realized he knew, how he knew when he seemed so dense was beyond you but it left you very red and embarrassed.

"So, um, Do you know what you want for Christmas? I mean have you figured out something you want to get for yourself?" You asked fiddling with your now very interesting and old sweatshirt.

"Not yet, 'ave you?" You shook your head, you had only one thing you wanted for Christmas and each time you thought about it you groaned at how cheesy it wounded in your head.

"Vant to go shopping vit Nat? Ve could vindow shop for zings ve vant." You smiled because you knew Natasha was busy and this would be your chance to have some time with Wanda. You really wanted time to get to know her without her annoying brother hanging about.

"Nat's busy but we can go?" You offered her a kind smile, one she returned.

"Sure."

Three hours later you two were having a blast, you were having trouble keeping still and staying at a slow pace with her but after the first hour you got it down. You were enjoying your time as much as she appeared to be and you couldn't have been happier.

"Oh, look, it's starting to snow!" You looked up and held out your tongue to catch a snow flake, something you did as a kid.

"It iz nice, reminds me of Russia. Vat are you doing?" You blushed slightly but laughed.

"Trying to catch snow on my tongue, I used to do it when I was little. My dad used to tell me that if you could catch just one that you'd get a wish. It's not true of course, but it's still pretty fun!" You grabbed her arm gently "try it!"

The two of you spent a few minutes trying to catch snow flakes but you were unsuccessful and it was starting to snow harder.

"We should head back." she agreed and you both made your way through the busy streets and back into the tower.

"I had a lot of fun hanging out with you, Wanda." You grinned flopping onto the couch with a huge fuzzy blanket in order to get warm again.

"I 'ad fun too, we should do it again." She sat next to you.

"Wanna share? It's a pretty big blanket." You offered and she took it.

By the time night fell you were ready to fall asleep, the movie that was playing wasn't all that interesting especially to a mind that was foggy and wondering. You glanced over and noticed that Wanda had fallen asleep and you smiled ever so slightly.

"Merry Christmas, Maximoff."
