Hawks x Reader
Ok, so whenever I'm editing a separate draft, it seems like this chapter publishes itself again. I'm not going to be editing or fixing any grammar mistakes for this chapter, so any notification for it is useless. It just means I've been writing out a new chapter. Au revoir.

Your prison was empty. No windows, no furniture, no soul in sight. The sight made you miserable; constantly being reminded of your future.
Your back was raw, the skin peeling endlessly. Every little contact made you cry out, the pain excruciating. Hawks had cut your beautiful wings. Their DNA matched one of a dove's; as was your quirk. They were functional, and you loved to fly over the city at night. The lights from the buildings was beautiful from above; it made you never want to set your feet on the ground.
That's how you met Hawks. You almost flew into a random window at the sight of him. Hawks was amazed at your quirk, he loved the blue and black streaks that ran throughout the lengths of your wings. As you both talked, you almost freaked out when he asked you out to dinner. That's when it all started.
His face would contort into a snarl whenever you mentioned another man, even your own father. He would grab your arm and grip it with unbelievable strength, whispering in your ear how no other man would have you.
It frightened you beyond belief. You tried distancing yourself from him, hoping he would lose interest. It never worked. Hawks would perch himself on your apartment balcony, crying and begging for you to let him in. Your guilt would eat you from the inside out, and you eventually let him in and were shocked at how he groveled at your feet; begging for forgiveness.
He showered you with affection and gifts, and you felt too guilty to say no when he asked you to be his girlfriend. You noticed that Hawks stopped being obsessive, and never showed a reaction to another man. Maybe, it had just been a one time thing. Forgetting about the incident, you assumed all was well. Apart from the overwhelming paparazzi and media attention, you loved being with Hawks. He treated you like a princess, and even called you as such.
When he started to return even later from work, you thought maybe he had another lover. You even shamefully snooped through his phone, but found nothing. What was he doing out late until eleven o'clock? He couldn't possibly be working that late...
Well, you found out sooner than later. Hawks and you were watching a movie, cuddling together.
"You know Y/N, I've been thinking about our future together and..." Hawks started off, his cheeks becoming tinged pink.
Oh no, is this the talk? It's too soon!
"Maybe we should...take things to the next level? Not that of course, but engagement, maybe? I know how funny you are about the media, but we can keep it a secret!" Hawks hugged you even tighter, not waiting for a response. Your cheeks burned, embarrassed by the situation. This was too early, you weren't ready for this type of commitment!
"Hawks...this is wonderful and all but it's only been a few months! Maybe, we can wait until it's been a year into our relationship? I-I'm not saying no, of course!" You stamper out. In all honesty, you were worried for his reaction.
He never said anything. You look up, noticing how his eyebrows were furrowed together; his eyes glazed over.
"Hawks?"
No answer.
"Are you not happy in our relationship?" He looked down at you. He was starting to frighten you again.
"What? No, Hawks! I didn't mean to spoil the mood...do you want to fly together and sightsee?" You changed the topic quickly, mortified at his reaction.
You flinched when he stroked your wings, mindlessly humming an unknown tune.
"You don't really need these, by the way. Rely on me, and no one else, okay?" Hawks leaned closer towards your wings, his grip becoming stronger. It was starting to become painful...
"K-Keigo! It hurts, stop!" You yanked yourself away from him, tears glazing your eyes. Enough was enough. Maybe...it was time for a break.
"Let's...take a break...you're being weird..." You inched closer to the front door, slowly turning the key.
"No."
Here you were now, chained to the bed. He said you needed no one but him to fly you anywhere, and clipped your wings to the skin of your back. The skin around your wings would peel and bleed, and it made you weep everytime because of the pain. The worst pain, was seeing your wings fall with a 'thump' to the floor. Even the blood that followed didn't make you cry as much as seeing your most prized possession stripped away from you. His grin made you sick to your stomach.
Why, just why, did you have to be out flying that night?
Your stomach tightened when the doorknob to your prison started to jiggle. The door creaked open, revealing Keigo with a plate of rice. You didn't say anything as he sad down beside you, uttering random things about his day and job.
"...and I think next week we have a big project coming up, I may come home later than usual!" You didn't react as he fed you the rice.
All those nights he spent away, he was in the middle of nowhere. Hawks had bought a spacious cabin, and installed your room below the house. He built it entirely from scratch himself. He couldn't risk hiring a company, they could have leaked it to the Press.
The walls were completely soundproof, and were a sickening white. Keigo said that if you behaved, he'd paint them any color you'd like.
"I think it's time we start a family, you know? You're okay with that, right?" Keigo lifted your chin, daring you to say no.
"Yes...that's fine." Inside, you screamed no as loud as you could.
"Perfect, little dove."
