I kept reverting back to third person, and eventually just let myself go towards the middle. Sorry if it's confusing—

"I really don't care if all we have is crackers, Uraraka."
It had been a few days of hiking, filled with fear and anxiety. You, Uraraka, Jiro, and Yaoyorozu filled your back bags with food and water. The supplies were supposed to last a week, but after the first night, there was only one bottle of water and ten packages of crackers. In a panic, the four of you tried finding your way back to society.
No one could remember the way they came from, so everyone decided to keep marching forward. Today marked the third day of horror. The singular water bottle only had a few sips left, and there were only two cracker packages.
Uraraka tried to encourage everyone to try hunting. How would you all hunt with no weapons? She said she was tired of the crackers, and to be frank, you were tired of her.
"Y/N! We need some kind of other food! We'll starve!"
"If we ration everything, we should be fine. Leave Y/N alone."
Jiro was the backbone of the group, and came to terms with everything more easily. Yaoyorozu was a city girl, and was always dragging the group behind. Uraraka was just...overwhelming.
Night fell, and you helped set up camp. There were only two tents to spare, so it was two people to one tent. You shared a tent with Yaoyorozu, while Jiro was with Uraraka. Everyone sat by the fire, carefully distributing the remaining crackers.
You munched on yours carefully, savoring the last possible food source. They were stale, and flavorless. Was it terrible to wish for a juicy steak?
"I'm going to bed...excuse me."
Uraraka got up from her spot, and zipped up the tent behind her. You felt bad for her, knowing that she had little to no experience in the wild. Who were you to talk, anyway? With a sigh, Jiro followed behind her. Their voices were low inside their tent, but you didn't feel like eavesdropping.
"Hey, Y/N...if we make it outta here, what will happen?"
Swallowing your last bit of cracker, you eyed Yaoyorozu carefully. Her black ponytail was a mess, with stray pieces of hair drifting in and out of her face. She was littered with scratches, and had old tear stains on her cheeks.
"What do you mean? We'll live life normally—"
"—No, Y/N...I'm talking about us—"
Snap.
The conversation was cut short, with both of you swiveling your heads to the area behind where you sat. There were multiple trees, with large bushes in between their trunks. You waited for a rabbit to jump out or something, but flinched hearing a 'clicking' noise. It stopped after a moment, but you still felt afraid.
"...What were we talking about?" You asked.
Yaoyorozu rubbed her arms, urging the goosebumps to go away. With a sigh, she stood up and beckoned you to your tent.
"It's time we go to bed...I don't want some bear eating us."
With reluctance, you crawled inside the tent and she followed. It was zipped shut, and Yaoyorozu wrapped your blanket around your body. She hesitated for a moment before drawing her hand back.
