Her eyes felt heavy, yet her body light. Y/N stared up at the ceiling, noting each speck of dust that caked the fan that blew air down onto her. It spun around and around, slightly creaking due to a loose screw.

It was hard to remember what happened a few nights ago, and thankfully, Y/N's fever had broke. She had stayed home for most of the week, and finally felt ready to step back into society.

As she looked in the mirror, her eyes stayed glued to the dark, gruesome splotches. They covered her body, but mostly her neck. Fall was approaching, so she could get away with wearing a turtle neck. Y/N combed the knots out of her hair, keeping the same blank expression like before.

Red feathers kept appearing in her apartment, which would act on their own accord. Y/N had tried to sweep them up, but they'd quickly disperse and disappear. She lost hope, turning a blind eye to the strange occurrences.

Her footsteps were light, which was expected of a thief such as herself. She kept an innocent smile, hoping to lure the parasites of society to her little bubble. The second Y/N felt their grimy fingers brush against her skin, she let her own fingers dig into their pockets. Yen was crumpled up into her fist, and then shoved into her coat pocket. She felt a rush feeling so many bills in her hand, knowing that she could easily pay next month's rent, too.

Many different people brushed past her. Y/N looked to their pockets, assessing how much they drooped. Weight meant money, which was what she was after. Today, many wealthy people roamed the streets of Tokyo. How careless would one be to haul around so much cash? Definitely not Y/N.

She didn't notice the people anymore, and blindly stalked through the crowd. Person after person, she emptied their pockets. Cash was close to spilling out of her coat, some already doing so. Y/N prepared to hurry back home, but felt a hand grip her arm.

Even under the numerous layers of clothing, his hand was extremely warm. Y/N didn't dare meet his eyes, assuming it was another old man who was perverted. Her fingers slowly creeped to his jacket, wanting to score one last time, but then stopped.

His breath hit the nape of her neck, making her instinctively lean away. The crowd was so congested that no one noticed her being nearly shadowed by his body. Y/N still refused to look up, unsure of who she was dealing with.

"What exactly are you feeling for, mouse?"

So familiar, yet unwelcome. She itched to wrench her arm away, but couldn't so much as move. His grip became tighter, slowly pulling her away from the crowd.

A flash of red made her eyes widen. His wings stretched high above his head, before settling into position behind his back. Y/N could visibly remember the night he moaned underneath her, his hands caressing each inch of skin. She wanted to turn away, desiring to disappear into the sea of people.

Her eyes flickered to the man's hand gripping her arm. A tiny blue flame, close to burning her sleeve away. Y/N stopped resisting, and sighed when the flame vanished. She was being led closer to the winged man, whose smile shined like stars. The crowd was becoming sparse, allowing her to be rushed faster by the flame-bearing man.

Darkness coated her vision. Y/N realized crimson wings had curled around her body, shielding her from the outside world. She felt as if her chest would explode. Why couldn't she remember their names? Did they ever tell her in the first place?

Rough brick scratched against her back, making Y/N want to sink. Gold and cerulean eyes roamed every inch of her body. Her coat was snatched away, the buttons popping from the force.

"You've been busy," the blond commented, shaking her coat. Cash fell out of the pockets, becoming dirty on the ground. Y/N winced, mentally suffering at the loss. "Have you forgotten us so soon?" the other asked, adjusting the collar of his trench-coat.

"...Get out of my way-" Y/N demanded, pushing her shoulder against the winged man. He only shoved her back into the wall, stepping closer to cage her body in.

"Dabi and Keigo is who we are," he said, curling his wings to create a little cage. It was only Keigo and Y/N inside, blocking off Dabi from their personal chat. "You don't remember us, love?"

She shook her head, bending down to crawl away from underneath. Y/N was so close to joining society again, but hands grabbed at her from behind. Her body was pulled further into the alleyway, this time with Dabi caging her in.

The fabric around her neck was pulled away, displaying the vivid hues of purple. A smile was shared between the two men, before they broke into a fit of chuckles.

"Was it me or you who did that?" Dabi asked, looking closer to see if there were any more. Keigo clicked his tongue, peering down Y/N's shirt.

"These are mine," her shirt was pulled further away, revealing the darker splotches along her chest. "Yours barely left a mark on her, Dabi. I'm offended you assumed I would do that-"

"-Shut up. Who even asked?"

They continued to bicker, leaving Y/N alone to battle her thoughts. This was so confusing. Looking to her left, the opening to the alleyway was visible. Already once she had tried to run, but failed. Could Y/N make another attempt?

Y/N ducked to the side, keeping her eyes glued to the sunlight. People walked by the opening, not noticing the situation taking place within. Quick like a mouse, or how Dabi referred to her, Y/N bolted out of the alley. She breathed a fresh breath of air, relaxing into the crowded environment. People bumped against her shoulder, but Y/N didn't care.

Her daily income was gone, but she didn't want to quite go home yet. What if they followed her? She couldn't hear their voices from the alley, but even then she couldn't risk leading them to her home. So, she walked to the nearest restaurant.

The food was cheap, and people usually came here for the wifi anyway. Y/N sat down at a booth in the corner, looking out the window.

Black and blond hair passed by, making her flinch. The pair didn't notice her inside the restaurant, and continued walking. They were actively searching for someone. Back and forth they surveyed the sidewalk, moving faster when they couldn't find her. Y/N shriveled in her seat, hoping to look smaller.

If only she hadn't been a temptress, she'd be free.
